He was so incredibly knowledgeable about Israel, the Bible, people in general, and he discussed ways the past relates to the present. He was so kind and genuinely wanted us to understand and appreciate his country. He had a gentle firmness about keeping our group of 24 quiet when he was talking so we could all enjoy what he was saying. He even told us his personal story, which was amazing. This trip for me was life altering and I highly recommend anyone going to Israel to have a licensed guide….like Escher!

We couldn’t have asked for better guides or drivers, they took care of everything, from our border crossings to checking us in at Amman airport. Steps of John and Paul with Istanbul In 2019, 2 friends and I took the 16-day Steps of John and Paul tour which began with Istanbul. The first 3 chapters of Revelation and the New Testament mission trips of Paul came alive in Turkey, Greece and the Mediterranean islands in between. Pilgrim Tours did an excellent job for a reasonable cost. My opinion is don’t leave out Istanbul and the bus trip down the Turkish coast to cross the Dardanelles Strait on a car/bus ferry!

Our Exodus 14 trip was an incredible trip! Our Exodus 14 trip was truly a once-in-a-lifetime, incredible learning experience. In spite of the blistering summer heat (especially at Petra), we had a fantastic journey that brought the Scriptures to life. We highly recommend Pilgrim and look forward to our next trip with Pilgrim. Each part of the trip with Pilgrim is so well planned and seamless. We stayed in great places with great food. It is obvious that everything has been well explored and well thought out. All we had to do was listen, learn, and absorb everything and anything we could while visiting each country.

She had traveled many times to Greece and was able to share her personal experiences with us which made our experience even better. While we were there, we were able to see just about everything!
