GBFTLO Colombia I did the FTLO trip to Colombia last month and cannot recommend it enough! Our guide, Juli, could not have been nicer or more informative. All of our scheduled activities were fantastic, but Juli also had fantastic recommendations for our free time. This was an amazing trip, and Juli made it that much better! Do not miss this trip if you're looking to visit Colombia!

GBFirst FTLO trip to Havana Cuba First FTLO trip to Havana Cuba. FTLO made it so easy to understand what’s needed to be done with logistics. Our group leader Ivan also communicated with us before to answer any questions we had. And continued doing so during the trip, he was great. I also really liked the place we stayed at, very central to everything.

GBFTLO Havana April 2024 I took the FTLO Havana trip the first week of April 2024. It was a culturally enriching trip which was enhanced by our trip leader Ivan. He is incredibly knowledgeable and made guiding us seem effortless! His warm demeanor and a great group of trip mates helped make this a memorable experience. Standouts were the farm visit along with the cigar tasting which weren’t at the top of my list going in but ended up being two of favorite activities.

GBFTLO Havana - my SIXTH FTLO tour! I recently returned from my sixth FTLO tour - I think that says it all about how much I love travelling with this company. I find their experiences so well-curated and customer service is top notch! They provide ample pre-departure resources that I find incredibly helpful, and their CS team is always very friendly and available to answer questions. Accommodation and dining experiences I also find are elevated compared to other tour companies, and I especially enjoy the mix of planning activities and free time they schedule into their tours. About this recent trip specifically, I joined the Havana tour starting April 3. It was a quick "long-weekend" type trip (4 days) but we packed so much into that time. Lots of great experiences I did not expect to enjoy so much, such as the cigar/rum tasting and local artist's gallery visit. My personal fave activity was the farm visit, bc I could have moved in right on the spot! There is also a fabulous night out at FAC, an AMAAAAAZING club with so many different rooms, art, concerts, dance floors, bar stalls....it went on and on and on, I've never seen a club like it! So if you like to travel for nightlife, the Havana trip has you covered. But mostly I enjoyed just exploring the city with our FANTASTIC trip leader, Ivan. Ivan might be one of the warmest, kindest people I have ever met in my life. His enthusiasm is contagious; you just can't have a bad time when he is around. I also always felt very safe and taken care of with Ivan, as he managed all the trip activities, dinners and other issues flawlessly. I stayed an extra few days and he availed himself to my needs/questions even though his job was technically done! And I also could tell he was an animal lover, which always speaks highly to me about person :) FTLO did so right hiring Ivan for their Havana trips - he made that tour and the whole experience travelling to Cuba (which can be challenging as an American) completely seamless and enjoyable. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!
