GBAmazing trip to Iceland! I had a great time doing a winter adventure in Iceland! We explored the food scene, outdoors, and the day at the Sky Lagoon was my absolute favorite. The Northern Lights were an unexpected bonus, too! I love that the tour company handled everything, and our guide Olga was great. I'm definitely signing up for another trip - the best part is that the other people in the group were awesome and fun - I think it's a self-selective type of person (outgoing, adventurous, interested in the world) who signs up for trips like this. And these are the types of people I like to be around!

GBSuccessful 3rd trip with FTLO! I love traveling with FTLO! I just got back from my 3rd trip with them, this time to Japan. Each trip has been so well organized, and stress-free. Our tour guide Juno in Japan was a well of knowledge and experience. He led us through all the group actives, and even some bonus experiences! He was always available with recommendations for free time activities and placed to eat the BEST food. Debating where to go next!

ZASouth Africa South Africa is an awesome trip! Jose was our trip leader and he was fantastic. The trip was well planned out with enough time in Kruger for safari, dining under the stars every night, game days, then to Cape Town for penguins, table mountain and lions head, and wine days. There is something for everyone and Jose was awesome in guiding our trip 10/10!

GBFTLO Havana - my SIXTH FTLO tour! I recently returned from my sixth FTLO tour - I think that says it all about how much I love travelling with this company. I find their experiences so well-curated and customer service is top notch! They provide ample pre-departure resources that I find incredibly helpful, and their CS team is always very friendly and available to answer questions. Accommodation and dining experiences I also find are elevated compared to other tour companies, and I especially enjoy the mix of planning activities and free time they schedule into their tours. About this recent trip specifically, I joined the Havana tour starting April 3. It was a quick "long-weekend" type trip (4 days) but we packed so much into that time. Lots of great experiences I did not expect to enjoy so much, such as the cigar/rum tasting and local artist's gallery visit. My personal fave activity was the farm visit, bc I could have moved in right on the spot! There is also a fabulous night out at FAC, an AMAAAAAZING club with so many different rooms, art, concerts, dance floors, bar stalls....it went on and on and on, I've never seen a club like it! So if you like to travel for nightlife, the Havana trip has you covered. But mostly I enjoyed just exploring the city with our FANTASTIC trip leader, Ivan. Ivan might be one of the warmest, kindest people I have ever met in my life. His enthusiasm is contagious; you just can't have a bad time when he is around. I also always felt very safe and taken care of with Ivan, as he managed all the trip activities, dinners and other issues flawlessly. I stayed an extra few days and he availed himself to my needs/questions even though his job was technically done! And I also could tell he was an animal lover, which always speaks highly to me about person :) FTLO did so right hiring Ivan for their Havana trips - he made that tour and the whole experience travelling to Cuba (which can be challenging as an American) completely seamless and enjoyable. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

GBPerfect Iceland Trip for solo female travelers I went on my first ever group travel experience to Iceland with FTLO in February and I’m so glad I did! I was skeptical at first, but the itinerary was well paced and included everything I wanted to see without feeling too rushed. Our tour guide, Olga, was knowledgeable and organized and made sure we were all comfortable and knew where to be. The hotels in small towns on the southern coast were beautiful and perfect for seeing the Northern Lights even though the weather made that impossible on our trip. Even without seeing them I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything. I stayed a few extra days in my own to do the Golden Circle and I’m glad I did but I definitely preferred the sights of the Southern Coast as it felt more natural and less touristy. This trip was a great way to see Iceland, especially as a solo female traveler. I even made friends that I’ve stayed in touch with!
