Explorient Travel I can absolutely vouch for Explorient and specifically Kervin as a trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable Asian travel agent, based in the States. Kervin has now planned two totally custom solo trips for my husband and myself, first to Thailand five years ago and now Japan. He is especially in tune with my accomodation tastes and even managed to get us in one of the hardest to book Ryokans in Japan for an incredible 3 night stay. Kervin is also fun to talk with on the phone and always has time for lengthy discussions of our trip plans and specific needs. Overall excellent tour We just returned from a two week tour in China put together by Explorient. Overall we were very satisfied with the guides, drivers and itinerary . We had a problem with a canceled flight in X'ian which resulted in chaos at the airport. We did not have a working emergency contact number which was also frustrating . Other than that our trip was wonderful and working with Kervin was a very good experience.

India / Maldives teip This was the first time we used Explorient. They were referred to us by a friend. Our contact person, Kervyn, did an amazing job preparing our trip to India. Limited Available Time Used Extremely Well Obviously you can’t really see China in the week we had available; however, if you have limited time than Explorient is the way to go. Explrient and their agents did an outstanding job of making sure the highlights we saw were truly remarkable and memorable. A perfect example was the Great Wall. There are closer viewing locations to Beijing than the one we went to but none better than the Mutianyu location. The guide adjusted the timing of our drive to ensure better weather and low crowds. It was amazing. All three guides in each of the three locales were friendly, engaging, and fun. All guides and drivers seemed to genuinely enjoy their work and showing off their hometowns. Great company. Great trips. Just came back from our second trip with Explorient and can't say enough good about this company. Kervin is extremely helpful, informative and definitely looks out for you even when you are on the trip. The itineraries are great and flexible and the tour guides are the best.
