Egypt is a great place to visit, and if you stay away from the Syrian border seems perfectly safe, and just a wealth of history! Our guide Hazem took excellent care of us and provided a lot of information on not only the ancient history but the current state. We had 2 fifty year olds and a 79 yo and all loved it!!!

Egypt at its Best!!! Recently, friends of ours invited us to accompany them on a ten day trip to Egypt. With a little apprehension, we consented to go. While booking the trip with AskAladdin, the package almost seemed too good to be true. From the accommodations, the pyramid/temple tours, hot air balloon ride, Nile River cruise, Felucca ride, etc. - all exceeded our expectations. An AskAladdin agent, Mustafa, met us at the airport and quickly got us through the custom/visa area and Zaki, our driver was always ready and waiting to pick us up and drop us off at our next destination. Most importantly, Hazem Bazid, our Eqyptologist, was a wealth of knowledge. He was a wonderful person to have as our guide. We highly recommend AskAlladin! Vern and Jean, Connecticut P.S. Don't miss going to Egypt My friend and I, two women felt very safe in Egypt. Even if we were not on a tour I would feel comfortable walking around certain areas by myself. Ask Aladdin tours is very accommodating and their staff is superior. From the handlers to the drivers and our very educated English speaking guide, Adham was wonderful. The river cruise was outstanding, the food and service was superior. I would not hesitate to take a trip to Egypt.

Splendours of Egypt tour- excellent value for the price The agency representative in Cairo, Mustafa, was very attentive to our needs. The tour guide, Walid , was very good. Transportation by air, water and land were well coordinated and no glitches. Cruise ship upgrade, with no additional cost, was much appreciated. One suggestion- advise travelers to bring extra money for tipping. Although the trip was purchased as a " package" , it did not include tipping for drivers, tour guides, cruise ship hotel crew, etc.

Egypt: The Land of Great History Egypt was one of our most exciting and favorite trips abroad. The sites and the history made us stare in awe at the 4000 year old marvels. The food was phenomenal and the people were very hospitable and kind. At no point during our trip did we feel unsafe and everything was very well organized. Yassir our guide was exceptional and truly made Egypt feel like our home away from home. The passion and knowledge he had for Egyptian history and culture was contagious and very memorable. From the pyramids of giza, to abu simbel, to the local coffee shops, we will never forget this wonderful trip and hope that many others can experience the wonders, sites, and tastes Egypt has to offer.
