We didn't overplan, instead we allowed the experts to listen to us (which they did) and craft soulful, immersive experiences that my daughter and I truly connected with. We were paired with the best guides who were efficient, on time and full of information that we found interesting and each excursion was an adventure in itself. Kayaking in Montenegro, picking vegetables in a garden and being welcomed into someone's home to learn how to cook traditional dishes in Croatia, and spectacular days spent out on the glimmering waters snorkeling, swimming and island hopping in between. From the moment we landed in Zagreb to the last boat we took out of Dubrovnik Via tours had us covered every step of the way. All in all a great trip All in all a great trip. The boat part was the best of many great experiences. Really nice accommodations and food. The crew were friendly and efficient, and did their best to ensure our comfort and enjoyment to the fullest. We loved all the stops along the way. The land portion of the trip was enjoyable and interesting, and the accommodations were first class.There are two things I would have changed. First, we would not have gone on the Montenegro tour. The ride from Dubrovnik and return was too long for the reward. I think a free day would have been better for us. Which leads me to a second point. While all the excursions were enjoyable, we would have liked more free time to explore on our own. Kathy, our leader could not have been any better. She was always attentive to our needs and answering our many questions along the way regarding what we had done and what was coming up. Thank you, Kathy
