GBIndividual attention. Individual attention by the instructor. Her knowledge enabled me to expand options for my knitting. The hotel, Lough Eske, was fantastic. Great rooms, staff interaction, and good food. I do wish the breakfast was laid out better, tho. I want to thank the office staff for their rapid responses to my questions. I would definitely use this company in the future.

GBA delightful, informative experience This is the fourth Knitting Tours trip I have taken. This tour met the expectations set be the previous three. Tour guide June was knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around; the couch drivers Jim and Graeme were experts at navigating the narrow streets and tight parking lots, all with a great sense of humor. The tour itself was a good mix of history and sharing the knowledge of expert instructors. The food in the hotels and the various lunch stops was mostly excellent--if there's a criticism, it's that the portions were large, with wonderful desserts! I think we would have liked more opportunities to visit yarn shops. We had a few really good ones, but I don't think there could ever be too many opportunities! Overall it was a delightful, informative experience.

GBThis was such a wonderful trip This was such a wonderful trip! It was well planned, with a great mix of knitting/craft experiences and site seeing. Our tour guide, Jane, was exceptional. She was knowledgeable, explained the sites and Ireland’s history and culture, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She managed to keep us on schedule seamlessly, and without being pushy. Our driver, Domenic, was splendid too. Highly recommended!

GBKnitting in Paradise This was the second tour I have done with Knitting Tours, and it was fabulous! The venue (Parknasilla Resort) lives up to the hype on their website. I didn’t try the swimming, spa or gym, but the walking trails are well maintained and the trails along the ocean offer great views. The only hiccup was the cancellation of a sightseeing drive along the Ring of Kerry - but there was a good reason. A nasty piece of weather named Agnes! But the group managed to have the resort start a fire for us and we received hot chocolate or Irish coffee which we enjoyed along with some extra time with our instructor! An alternate tour was arranged, but knitters can be an ornery group! We requested a speedy return to Dublin instead so we could get to the delightful knitting store “This Is Knit” and they graciously obliged. All in all, a spectacular experience!

CAFirst trip wth knittingtours.com First trip wth knittingtours.com. The 10 night tour in Ireland was great in part because of our fabulous guide Ann Marie Hayes and coach driver extraordinaire, Brian. Everything happened as planned and the weather cooperated so we were able to participate in the outdoor events such as Dun Aengus on Inish Mor and Slieve League. The knitting workshops and demonstrations were fun. I particularly enjoyed the visit to Mourne Aloacas. Definitely recommend this tour.
