CAFirst trip wth knittingtours.com First trip wth knittingtours.com. The 10 night tour in Ireland was great in part because of our fabulous guide Ann Marie Hayes and coach driver extraordinaire, Brian. Everything happened as planned and the weather cooperated so we were able to participate in the outdoor events such as Dun Aengus on Inish Mor and Slieve League. The knitting workshops and demonstrations were fun. I particularly enjoyed the visit to Mourne Aloacas. Definitely recommend this tour.

AUOverall the our was great great Overall the tour was great. I would have loved some preparatory material that helped bridge the gap between the knitting terms that I have used all my life & those of North America which is what the tour was aimed at. At times I felt out of my depth & yet I have been a knitter all my life. Supplementary information or resources would have helped.

USJust do it! My first tour of any kind and I would do it again! Our guide and bus driver were knowledgeable, pleasant and accommodating to our interests. Particularly loved the west coast, Donegal area and Sliabh League - amazing! And, of course, you arranged for the beautiful weather. Saw castles, ruins, gardens, small towns, narrow roads, pastures and miles of picture-perfect landscapes and still had time for so many very good fiber arts experiences that were the common interest of our group. I have talked about you often since returning. Thank you all for your efforts to prepare this tour.

USThis was such a wonderful trip This was such a wonderful trip! It was well planned, with a great mix of knitting/craft experiences and site seeing. Our tour guide, Jane, was exceptional. She was knowledgeable, explained the sites and Ireland’s history and culture, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She managed to keep us on schedule seamlessly, and without being pushy. Our driver, Domenic, was splendid too. Highly recommended!

AUDon't let the title Knitting Tour put… Don't let the title Knitting Tour put you off.For anyone wanting a great tour of Ireland and the Arran isles I can certsinly recommend this one.The knitting is an added bonus.Tour Guide Jane is one of the best with so much local and historical info.Plus she tried hard to teach us the Irish language.Kenny managed the coach like a rally driver. He negotiated streets and lanes brilliantly. Workshops were interesting and varied with good tutors. The accommodation could not be faulted. The group was a good mix of nationalities and knitting experience.Weather was kind to us.
