Check-in was easy Check-in was easy. Cabins were clean as always. Guides were professional, fun and personable. Virus response was good, even when all around (Beckley, etc) did not take it seriously. Some of us traveling from harder hit areas know differently. Overall, reliably good and consistent.

Our family came to AOG just to go… Our family came to AOG just to go rafting. We didn't stay at the resort, but felt welcome! We really enjoyed our rafting trip and all the historical information that we got along the way. We felt safe and our guide instructed us how to handle out-of-boat experiences at each section of the river. We had a wonderful time and hope to do it again!

5th time and yet another charm Seemingly every time I raft the Gauley, it’s a better time than the last. This trip was no exception. River guide Ethan steered us into some epic hits all day long. The deluxe overnight accommodations at Canyon Doors campsite were brilliant as usual. It was a bit of a bummer that the hot tubs we’re there (thanks, COVID!), but outside of that, camp was perfect.

First time white water rafting & ...... This was my first white water rafting trip and so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, you guys are so organized and informative that it was a breeze to go through. Our guide Rob Ho was amazing and we are all looking forward to coming back next year. Thanks for an exceptional experience!!

Upper Gauley wouldn't be half te fun without Adventures on the Gorge! I had an amazing time rafting the Upper Gauley with Adventures on the Gorge and it was amazing! The river guides were highly skilled and super friendly, making a crazy set of rapids an exciting and safe experience. On top of that, the campgrounds at Adventures on the Gorge has something for everyone. Half our group wanted to camp and we got a great site for that. The other half wanted a cabin with heat, shower and bathroom, and they had several choices to choose from. On top of that, AOTG offers several bars and dining options, along with a great swimming pool to hang out after the rafting. I will be back!
