GBFabulous time whitewater rafting over… Fabulous time whitewater rafting over Labor Day. Olivia was an amazing guide. For someone in their early 70s who had not rafted for many years, I was a bit nervous but totally reassured with excellent instruction from Barry as well as Olivia before the trip began. The Adventures on the Gorge program is so organized, fun and happnin...for old and young. Campus is outstanding. Cant wait to return. Mary Ann

GB5th time and yet another charm Seemingly every time I raft the Gauley, it’s a better time than the last. This trip was no exception. River guide Ethan steered us into some epic hits all day long. The deluxe overnight accommodations at Canyon Doors campsite were brilliant as usual. It was a bit of a bummer that the hot tubs we’re there (thanks, COVID!), but outside of that, camp was perfect.

GBNice Nice, friendly, helpful, great personnel at the main reception area and at zip line center. The Zipline mgr -Sara?, Boss Lady desk plack, was very helpful and had approached us the evening before and asked if we were being helped. She answered a lot of questions and her customer service attitude convinced me -a hard sell, that this is where we wanted to zipline. My wife and I are 60+ and we both were impressed with the facility.

GBOur Guide was incredible Our Guide was incredible! Very knowledgeable and helped me stay calm the entire time while focusing on the task. I was nervous yet excited but with Zak as our guide and all the guides I never felt uncomfortable or that someone wasnt looking out for us. Definitely an experience of a lifetime highly recommend going with this place!

GBUpper Gauley wouldn't be half te fun without Adventures on the Gorge! I had an amazing time rafting the Upper Gauley with Adventures on the Gorge and it was amazing! The river guides were highly skilled and super friendly, making a crazy set of rapids an exciting and safe experience. On top of that, the campgrounds at Adventures on the Gorge has something for everyone. Half our group wanted to camp and we got a great site for that. The other half wanted a cabin with heat, shower and bathroom, and they had several choices to choose from. On top of that, AOTG offers several bars and dining options, along with a great swimming pool to hang out after the rafting. I will be back!
