It was my son's first time rafting, so needless to say it was a great experience for him. We all want to take a family trip to Colorado and do the rafting with Joe and his team. Exciting rapids, and lots of them, delicious food, beautiful scenery, great hikes and the best guides! I didn't expect to be spoiled on a river trip. I recommend this company to anyone looking to raft on the amazing Salt River Canyon.

Best time ever We went here for a bachelorette party, we were definitely beginners but the crew was so fun and welcoming. We all felt safe the whole time & couldn’t stop laughing. The crew was relatable and extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding area. They told us a lot of fun facts :) would recommend this company/ crew to anyone. THE FOOD WAS SO YUMMY TOO! We also had a large group, the transportation they provided use was reliable and timely. They were extremely professional but knew how to have a great time!

Best Rafting Company Wilderness Aware is by far one of the best rafting outfits around. Though I've been white water rafting numerous times, this was my first experience through the Salt River. Upon arrival, the company location was professional and easy to find. The facilities are sufficient for changing, and of course the river trip was fantastic. The guides were well trained, very experienced and very personable. Our group enjoyed every bit of our day. I would highly recommend Wilderness Aware to anyone looking to raft the Salt River or any of the various trips they offer.

I have used Wilderness Rafting on 3… I have used Wilderness Rafting on 3 rivers in the Western US, 12 times on the Upper Salt river in AZ. We have had excellent success on every trip and plan to go on the 3 day trip next year (snow permitting).
