My daughters and I traveled with Andean… My daughters and I traveled with Andean Discovery last summer to Ecuador and Peru. All of our guides were fantastic and made our trip very fulfilling. We enjoyed seeing the many sites, learning about the culture, and enjoying the delicious food. I am the older member in the group and the guides took this into consideration in allowing more time to get around planned activities. Active Family Tour of Quito and the Galapagos We went on a tour of Quito and the Galapagos. We had about 1-1/2 days in Quito at the beginning, a week in the Galapagos (between three islands) and then a long day back from Isla Isabella, a day in the suburbs in Quito and then returned to Panama, where we live. It was an active tour, and we had quite a few great activities, including a visit to a volcano in the Quito area, getting to snorkel and kayak with a variety of turtles, sea lions, and fish in the Galapagos, and getting to see huge tortoises. We had an individual guide in both places, both of whom were great. It is an active tour, which is exactly what we wanted.

Andean Discovery crafted a custom trip… to The Lost City of Colombia Andean Discovery crafted a custom trip to Colombia for a Lost City trek (Ciudad Perdida). It was one of the best adventures of my life, truly a life changing experience. Guide was a pro and the Chef sent ahead of us made sure we had gourmet meal at every major stop along route. I do recommend bringing a hammock if you prefer open air sleeping, the lodging is as expected for this type of journey. The multi-day hike was book-ended with luxury hotel / Villa stays, so that made prep / recovery a great experience. Def plan on going again! Thanks to Damon and his crew for taking it to another level.

Best organized trip we’ve ever been on! We had a wonderful trip with Andean Discovery in May 2018. Every detail was looked after, and even when our suitcase was delayed in Quito, our guide took us back to the airport the following day to retrieve it. Every guide was excellent and very patient- especially when going up Machu Picchu at a fairly slow pace! We have already recommended Andean Discovery to several friends. Fantastic tour operator!

Great guide, great hike, great hotels, great food Vannia, our guide, was the best part about our trip. She was personable, accommodating and professional. She was also incredibly knowledgeable both on the hiking trail and at the sites around the Sacred Valley. We loved our hotels and the food was fantastic every single day. Couldn't have asked for a better trip!
