GBI.E. = Q.E. (Quality Expeditions) We have used I.E. for multiple trips. Our experience is that they are a first class company that provides very nice accommodations (but not outrageously expensive ones) and fantastic in-country guides. They do not cut corners like some of their competitors will do. We have closely compared their offerings to ones of cheaper trips to the same place and there's always an obvious reason for the lesser cost companies - less activity/tours during the days, less quality with respect to the guides, seeing fewer unique things in a particular place, etc. If I.E. offers a trip where we want to go, we will always choose them without wondering if we "could do better". We know that we cannot do better with respect to quality and activity.

GBThese folks know how to do it right These folks know how to do it right. Everything was beyond our expectations. The transportation was clean and on time, the drivers knowledgable, the guides were personable, helpful and with expert skills (with rafting, rappelling, hiking and horseback riding). Food they prepared was tasty and interesting. The other dining was exceptional-tasty, well presented-all good choices. I could not recommend them more highly.

GBI have traveled with IE at least 6… I have traveled with IE at least 6 times and have experienced nothing but very high satisfaction with all aspects of the trips. The guides are exceptional. They have solid knowledge of the cultures and of the natural history of the area. They are organized and always congenial, and go out of their way to meet any special needs or requests of individual travelers. Accommodations are comfortable, clean, and well situated in the site of the visit. Transportation, be it bus or boat, fully meets the needs of the passengers. I look forward to my IE travels knowing I will be extremely happy with my trip experience.

GBAmazing ten days in the land of wild creatures The safari lodges were beautiful. The drivers who took us from Aboselli through the Serengeti were outstanding: very knowledgeable, great people, experts on the animals, birds and plants. The 747 KLM plane from Amsterdam to Nirobi was a nightmare of crowding. Much happier with the plane that brought us back. The game drives were very long, very uncomfortable due to the condition of the dirt roads. More short hops on small planes between parks would have been much better.

GBGuides made the difference Peru amazon, ship and accomodations were better than I expected. Meals and food were great. Multiple daily excursions to see wildlife were the highpoint of the trip. The guides really knew what they were doing and seemed as excited about seeing and finding Amazon wildlife as we were. Village visits and the cultural education our guides imparted gave me the sense of life and living in this region.
