Great safari Great leader and fantastic safari experience

Magical Pantanal and beyond! Absolutely loved the Pantanal (and beyond!) trip !! It was a unique itinerary that included not only the northern and southern Pantanal but also Bonito and the Alta Floresta rainforest. From our first day in Bonito we began seeing amazing creatures like giant anteaters and that continued throughout the trip. Our leader Rich Pagen is a brilliant naturalist but we also had gifted local guides in all our locations. We also had some unique experiences like a freshwater snorkeling trip down a pristine river surrounded by thousands of fish! Our lodge in the southern Pantanal was a gorgeous family owned property dedicated to conservation and surrounded by gardens and birds! The lodge near Alta Floresta was also beautiful and sustainable and completely dedicated to conservation of the area. Days were filled with magical encounters with giant river otters, lots of jaguar experiences, tapirs, caimans, anacondas and fantastic bird life. This was a great trip and I highly recommend it. It exceeded all my expectations.

If you are looking for excellence …. Small group. Very high quality guides and leaders. Attentive to needs,informed,and flexible. Loved the mix of active and intellectual.
