Avoid this dishonest company Santana cancelled a trip in Spring 2024. They are not providing a refund despite having my money in a trust (supposedly). The owner, Bill, is not communicating with the group in a transparent manner. It is remarkably disappointing and frustrating.

Rave reviews on New Zealand Bicycle Cruise It’s our second time cruising with Santana. Impossible to believe but it rivaled or was even better than the first. A sampling of culture, history, scenery and some amazing rides. The tour staff provided solid service and support. The ship provided great accommodation and food. We’re grateful to owners/host Bill and Jan for a meaningful experience. Something my wife Fei, daughter Ellen, friend Greg and myself will talk about for years. We’re already signed up for two more cruises in 2025.

The rides were ones we would have never put together on our own and each day was laced with magical moments whether it be breathtaking vistas, historical awe or cultural learning. The ship was world class - including our brilliant chef, and it was (as always) a great time to meet new friends and hang with old. If you have never done a trip with Santana, please know that this is tour created for avid cyclists and not an adventure vacation where you have a chance to go on bike rides. These trips require realistic expectations, a good attitude and a willingness to go with the flow. We have done more than 10 now, and have never regretted a single one.

Cycling Greek Islands 2023 It was a fantastic trip! The cycling routes were great. Riding on almost empty roads was quite a treat. The routes were challenging but the scenery was beautiful and the destinations (little towns and/or archeological sites) rewarding. We really loved been able to spend the night at some ports which allowed us to enjoy the towns. The ship and facilities were very good and the crew very attentive and polite. Overall it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend it to cyclists that enjoy the freedom of following a route on their own and at their own pace. This was our sixth trip with Santana and were looking forward to some more.
