Japan Cruise by Santana Adventures The Japan Cruise was a great experience. Santana Adventures provided all of the necessary information in a timely manner. All of the details were taken care of. Bill and his staff were there every day to answer any questions. The pre and post tour hotels were wonderful. The M S Star Breeze is an excellent cruise ship. The choice of sightseeing locations was all encompassing. This is truly a vacation that I will long remember.

One and done with Santana It’s hard to even give it a 1 star. This trip was the 3 D’s Disorganized Dangerous Disappointing Bill didn’t have the routes ready until an hour before the ride. His chicken scratch maps would make a 4 year old laugh, and he had nothing planned at any rest stops. If we did stop at a restaurant, they would run out of food by the time the later riders arrived. The routes took us on busy roads which were quite dangerous. All and all a very disappointing experience. I have done 15 Backroads trips and I will never waiver now that I have tried Santana Adventures. One and done!!

This was my 3rd cruise with Santana… This was my 3rd cruise with Santana Adventures and I already booked the next one. I am only sorry that at 82 years of age my time for many more is running out. I love the combination of cruise and seeing the country by bike. Bill and Jan McCready are doing a great job organizing these trips and scouting the routes. The only thing they can’t control is the weather, but so far I have been mostly lucky. I highly recommend them!

Avoid this dishonest company Santana cancelled a trip in Spring 2024. They are not providing a refund despite having my money in a trust (supposedly). The owner, Bill, is not communicating with the group in a transparent manner. It is remarkably disappointing and frustrating.

This was a fantastic cruise This was a fantastic cruise; if you want to be coddled and have your hand held every step-of-the-way, go on a Disney Cruise. If you want a great adventure seeing Europe on a bike (but without the hassel of being responsible for dragging your equipment around with you), this is the vacation for you. The routes are well-planned, allow for a bit of adventure and riding at one's own pace. Know how to fix a tire. Get miles on your bike before you leave. Enjoy the ride knowing that you have back-up for serious mechanical issues, someone will find you if you are truly lost or injured, and you get off the plane, hand your bike to the crew, and can enjoy yourself knowing that Santana has covered any issue that comes up.
