About Image Tours

Roelof Postmaa, Sr., an educator in The Netherlands, founded Image Tours in 1939 in Amsterdam. He began taking his students and their parents on trips as a hobby. Recognizing people’s need for guidance in planning their travels, Mr. Postmaa developed a successful business hosting tours throughout Europe. He firmly believed that travel broadens one’s horizon and enriches one’s mind. Mr. Postmaa’s son, Roelof Jr., began assisting his father in the family business while still in high school. Roelof Jr. opened an office in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1960 and began offering the company’s signature HEART OF EUROPE ® tour to groups such as fraternal organizations, employee associations, churches, school choirs, orchestras, and marching bands. In 1986, the company began partnering with travel agencies to offer their escorted Europe tours to the general public, thereby becoming firmly established throughout the United States. Today, Image Tours is led by Monique Kasmauskis, the daughter of Roelof Jr., and her husband, Mike. They, along with all the Image Tours associates, are dedicated to providing Superior Value with a Personal Touch. Thanks to this dedication, Image is often praised by both travelers and travel agents for courteous service, meticulous traveler preparation, and flawless execution of its tours. I am VERY VERY disgusted..... I am VERY VERY disgusted with your service and treatment of handicap travelers!! I had a call come in from a woman that had several disabilities take one of your tours and she was left stranded!! She got a note slipped under her hotel door saying they could not accomidate her any longer! yes she had disabilities and maybe should not have taken that trip, but for the guides to treat a handicap woman like that is appauling, leaving her with her bags stranded at the airport that is insane!!! I work for an emergency medical travel assistance company and you should be ashamed of yourselves!!

Our Image Tours trip to Capitals of… Our Image Tours trip to Capitals of Central Europe was outstanding. This was our fourth time with Image Tours and the second with Ger, our guide. They have perfected that great balance of guiding and allowing personal time. Lots of pre-trip preparation and nothing left to chance.

Image Tours Circle of Europe Tour Image Tours gave us a very comprehensive portrait of what would occur during the tour. The description of the places we were going to visit and what would transpire were spot on. The tour manager did an outstanding job of filling us in on a number of tidbits related to the area we were visiting. We were given a very good idea of what each country had to offer.

Fun Trip But It was a fun trip, driving around 6 countries in Europe. Enjoyed the trip to Venice and Amsterdam. Paris visit left something to be desired. Couldn’t see the Louvre. Couldn’t spend time at Eiffel Tower. Hotel in Paris and Venice were not at most convenient location.

World War II Memorial Tour Our World War II was outstanding. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable. Our two bus drivers were excellent. The hotels were high quality and the meals were very tasty with one exception. The timing of the tour was very well-paced. The local guides were very informative and interesting. Overall, we were vey pleased with our tour and have recommended it to others.
