About Image Tours

Roelof Postmaa, Sr., an educator in The Netherlands, founded Image Tours in 1939 in Amsterdam. He began taking his students and their parents on trips as a hobby. Recognizing people’s need for guidance in planning their travels, Mr. Postmaa developed a successful business hosting tours throughout Europe. He firmly believed that travel broadens one’s horizon and enriches one’s mind. Mr. Postmaa’s son, Roelof Jr., began assisting his father in the family business while still in high school. Roelof Jr. opened an office in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1960 and began offering the company’s signature HEART OF EUROPE ® tour to groups such as fraternal organizations, employee associations, churches, school choirs, orchestras, and marching bands. In 1986, the company began partnering with travel agencies to offer their escorted Europe tours to the general public, thereby becoming firmly established throughout the United States. Today, Image Tours is led by Monique Kasmauskis, the daughter of Roelof Jr., and her husband, Mike. They, along with all the Image Tours associates, are dedicated to providing Superior Value with a Personal Touch. Thanks to this dedication, Image is often praised by both travelers and travel agents for courteous service, meticulous traveler preparation, and flawless execution of its tours. Our HEART OF EUROPE ® tour has endured since 1960, and has been enjoyed by thousands of first-time travelers to Europe. Best of Europe Tour May 29 - June 12 2019 (7 countries) Our Guide, Barbara K (can't spell her last name) from Holland was seriously the most outstanding, patient, fun, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable guide I have ever had on a tour! I would do another tour with her in a heartbeat!!! And our driver, Ed, was terrific as well. He always helped everyone out of the bus and took excellent care of everything! They always had water for us, kept the bus clean and were both very professional but also very personable and friendly!!

I am VERY VERY disgusted..... I am VERY VERY disgusted with your service and treatment of handicap travelers!! I had a call come in from a woman that had several disabilities take one of your tours and she was left stranded!! She got a note slipped under her hotel door saying they could not accomidate her any longer! yes she had disabilities and maybe should not have taken that trip, but for the guides to treat a handicap woman like that is appauling, leaving her with her bags stranded at the airport that is insane!!! I work for an emergency medical travel assistance company and you should be ashamed of yourselves!!

Heart of Europe Tour The tour guide and bus driver were excellent. It was a good balance of guided tours, free time and bus travel time.

Two weeks in The United Kingdom Saw and experienced places we never would have seen on our own. The guide and driver were very helpful. The castles were each unique and we found some unexpected ones. Local guides brought their own information about their areas and their price was very evident. Optional excursions brought more experiences. Our guide was great about recommending places to see during our free time. The memories will last a lifetime.

Image has been a great tour company Image has been a great tour company. This was our third time to go with them. The tour guides and bus drivers have been wonderful and have provided lots of history about the places we visited. Image includes more meals than many companies with several dinners including beer or wine. Additional tour guides are furnished for some areas which give you more in depth description and history of some of the cities. Image also takes care of getting luggage off the bus and to the room and loads it in the morning. Overall Image provides a great experience for a reasonable price.
