Supportive and helpful Melissa was supportive and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. We originally had dates lined up with one resort but that resort last minute fell through on signing the contract and Melissa worked quickly to get us another resort and date that worked for us. TJ Dana is a blessing TJ Dana has been nothing but absolutely wonderful throughout my process of booking this wedding. My wedding is booked for June 7th of this year at dreams La Mareas, the booking has been in place for at least 18 months if not longer. My original wedding planner at the resort was Caroly, She was very rude, spoke over me, Never responded. Tj immediately stepped in to address this issue, even Caroly was abruptive, interrupting Tj and trying to speak over her. Tj professionally stepped in and informed her that she was being rude and condescending and we would need to escalate this matter as she was not LISTENING to me and my concerns for my wedding day. Tj took the initiative to request a new planner at the Resort, which did not get approved request. Even with the resort denying the request Tj spoke to the Manger on a group conference call to ensure that the quality service in the future will be improved. Even after this assurance from the manager things did not change. Caroly even had her team believe she kept all meetings with me but Tj was quick to defend the truth for me and resolve this misunderstanding and successfully got me a new planner at the resort to work with. She attended the conference call to ensure the quality of service was to my satisfaction eith the new planner and that no one would try to bully me again. I cannot express how grateful I am to have her on my side through this planning process. Even when I visited the resort she called me daily to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction. She has worked with so many of our guest to assist them in their booking of rooms and transportation needs from the airpot to resort and back. Tj is absolutely a blessing to me.

YOU WONT REGRET USING DESTINATION WEDDINGS My husband and I got married in the Dominican Republic in April of 2024! It was the happiest day of our lives… we were surrounded by 100 guests that made the trip to celebrate US! This would not have been possible without our travel agent, Rene Wills!!! Rene is dedicated to her clients! She goes the extra mile to personally know the couple she is working with and gets things done! Multiple times I had to reach out to her for help with the resort and she was responsive, professional, and timely. There are only a few things that I would change about our entire destination wedding experience, but using destination weddings (specifically Rene Wills) is NOT one. She is simply amazing and irreplaceable. Thank you Rene for your dedication, compassion, and work ethic. We are so thankful for you.

We had our wedding at Dreams Playa… We had our wedding at Dreams Playa Mujeres on 04-18-24. It was a small wedding, only 9 of us all together. I had Monica as my wedding planner and it was amazing. We had a small ceremony outside at Azure Veranda and it was perfect. We had no plans for after the wedding because there were only 9 of us so we figured we would just go to dinner. We discussed this with a staff member, Alejandro Leon, down by the beach bar. He then found out we were having no reception so he called his friends Chef Hendricks and Jonathan and they came and met us and made us a special meal. The Mezas restaurant was closed down so they set us up a special table, and a special dinner that was absolutely delicious. It totally made our wedding day so much more special and I am so thankful for Alejandro and Chef Hendricks and Jonathan. They made our stay absolutely amazing. My husband is also in a wheelchair and we found this resort to be very wheelchair friendly.

Thank you Carrie P! Carrie was great to work with. Handling the large group that we had was no easy task and planning over a year in advance presents it's own challenges, changes in people lives, uncontrollable circumstances, etc. - which are inevitable with a large group. Carrie was very clear going into this journey about restrictions, no guarantees, etc. Carrie coordinates many wedding groups travel, so we were patient as a email response could sometimes take a few days, but in the end we were pleased with the experience and support from DWT and Carrie.
