We had our wedding at Dreams Playa… We had our wedding at Dreams Playa Mujeres on 04-18-24. It was a small wedding, only 9 of us all together. I had Monica as my wedding planner and it was amazing. We had a small ceremony outside at Azure Veranda and it was perfect. We had no plans for after the wedding because there were only 9 of us so we figured we would just go to dinner. We discussed this with a staff member, Alejandro Leon, down by the beach bar. He then found out we were having no reception so he called his friends Chef Hendricks and Jonathan and they came and met us and made us a special meal. The Mezas restaurant was closed down so they set us up a special table, and a special dinner that was absolutely delicious. It totally made our wedding day so much more special and I am so thankful for Alejandro and Chef Hendricks and Jonathan. They made our stay absolutely amazing. My husband is also in a wheelchair and we found this resort to be very wheelchair friendly.

YOU WONT REGRET USING DESTINATION WEDDINGS My husband and I got married in the Dominican Republic in April of 2024! It was the happiest day of our lives… we were surrounded by 100 guests that made the trip to celebrate US! This would not have been possible without our travel agent, Rene Wills!!! Rene is dedicated to her clients! She goes the extra mile to personally know the couple she is working with and gets things done! Multiple times I had to reach out to her for help with the resort and she was responsive, professional, and timely. There are only a few things that I would change about our entire destination wedding experience, but using destination weddings (specifically Rene Wills) is NOT one. She is simply amazing and irreplaceable. Thank you Rene for your dedication, compassion, and work ethic. We are so thankful for you.

Amazing Experience Karen was amazing! Her patience with setting up all our guests arrangements was beyond professional. Not 1 guests had anything negative to say except how they drove her crazy and she worked with them with so much patience and professionalism. This was the first time we used Destination Wedding and will definitely not be the last.

Charlene Barlow was rude and unhelpful Charlene Barlow was rude and unhelpful. We came to know that we were overcharged for the rooms once we arrived at the hotel in Mexico. I strongly advise you to look for another Wedding agent if you are planning a Wedding or booking a room.

Best Decision ever! When we starting planning our destination wedding, we had so many questions and had no idea about DestinationWeddings.com. We filled our the inquiry form and after being matched with Amy Cate, it made our wedding planning so easy and fun. Amy was so helpful, detail oriented and was able to pick the best resort for our style/ wants. She was able to book our 70 guests and answer all their questions as well. If she didnt have the answer, she would figure it out for us. Planning our wedding was such a fun experience with Amy. Best decision ever to go with DestinationWeddings and ask for Amy :)
