Great time in Colombia In Medellín, Jose (and Adrian, our driver) was wonderful! He was just what we wanted in a guide. He was informative, fun to be with, flexible, and understood us. He took us to great places and we had wonderful experiences. He even sewed my torn bag for me! Aura in Cartagena was more of a facilitator than a guide—different role than Jose in Medellin. Sammy, our Gabo foodie guide in Cartagena was also wonderful.

The Colombian Trip is great. Andrea at The Colombian Trip planned a private 2 week trip for us to Colombia over Christmas and New Years. From the very beginning she was great. We started with one of their suggested itineraries and made changes based on our interests. Andrea was very helpful in suggestions for sites to visit. She was very prompt in answering all of our questions and concerns. All of the drivers and guides were great. They were always on time to pick us up at the airport or for daily tours. The guides were very knowledgeable and their English was very easy to understand. They all had a passion for Colombia and were thrilled that we were visiting. We also felt very safe everywhere we went. Our hotels were also wonderful. And the food was outstanding. So what ever your interests are, Andrea will be able to tailor a trip that meets your needs. She also provided an app called Trip Plans that had our itinerary on it. It was very detailed, had our airline tickets, times for pick up, and all of the information you need for the trip. If there was ever a change it showed up on the app. For example, leaving Medellin our flight was delayed. That was the only information that we had on the monitor at the gate, but the app showed us the new departure time. We were very impressed with her and The Colombian Trip. An amazing experience Without question the best trip my husband and I ever took, and we’ve traveled a lot. Andrea was amazing! She planned an exceptional trip for us. She selected interesting locations and experiences, excellent hotels, and guides and drivers who were prompt, knowledgeable and always focused on our comfort and enjoyment. Andrea checked with us periodically throughout our trip to ensure that all was going well and that we were happy and enjoying ourselves. Colombia is an amazingly beautiful country with warm and friendly people. We felt welcomed at every destination. From our initial contact with Andrea and throughout our trip, she responded promptly to our questions and provided us with helpful and practical information. When it is safe to travel again, I intend to return to Colombia and Andrea will most certainly be making the arrangements for that trip. Highly recommended!!
