Frustration Led Me to Celia and Kayak...Thank Goodness! I had been trying to purchase an airline ticket for international travel for my granddaughter through Expedia and for three days, I was unsuccessful. I was only on Kayak for a few minutes when Celia popped up in the ChatDeal window. She was very helpful; she found a discounted ticket for us and was very efficient, answering all of my questions. Thank you Celia!!

Incompetent or worse? My wife stood at the airport checkin in Miami last night for a confirmed booking through kayak/chatdeal. Kayak said after payment that the reservation would be handled by chatdeal. She did receive exactly one whatsapp message saying the flight was successfully confirmed, but nothing else. When she rechecked the url because the airline did not have a reservation for her, the page content had changed to "cancelled" with a message to contact a phone number with the booking ID. When she called the given service number, they told her that they did not know anything about her booking code. The credit card payment for the everything but cheap transatlantic flight from Miami to Barcelona still shows as "Authorized - Chatdeal via Kayak" in my bank account, blocking the card from making a different booking. It is clear that no one was prepared to assume the responsibility for this situation. When this can happen with a flight reservation they do without any chance of an alternative flight or recompensation, the whole business model of travel agency / flight portal becomes worthless. Update: They now fully charged my credit card for the cancelled reservation. I´ll handle this as fraud.

My experience was absolutely… My experience was absolutely phenomenal! Despite seeing negative reviews, I had a fantastic time. I received a call offering add-ons, but when I declined, they respected my choice and didn't bother me again. Instead, they kept me informed about my flight through email. Excellent customer service, and my ticket had no issues. Thumbs up!

A suprisingly productive and pleasant experienece I don't normally write reviews. I got into Chatdeal through a search on Kayak. I got the best possible agent to help me out. Her/His name was Diamond. The person was patient, persistent, empathetic, and willing to walk through all my queries and clarifications. We worked through various combnations and possibilities over 4 hours!! This is an unusually high level fo prefessionalism and competence, and it definitely builds confidence in start-up travel comanies. Bravo Chatdeal! And bravo to Diamond
