NLAugust 14 Meradalir eruption hike on Fagradalsfjall The breathtaking hike up to Meradalir on August 14 notwithstanding, our guide Devin-not-Kevin was essential in preparing us for what to expect, and was well informed about the volcano as well, and it was a pleasure to interact with him. I hope the winds blow him to Holland one day! ;) Our bus driver was HBO or GMO or I actually don't remember the abbreviation, my apologies, a legend who managed to manoeuvre us through the rugged terrain near the hike site and the obscene traffic in Reykjavik, and was a fun individual too.

USExcellent glacier lagoon boat tour Excellent glacier lagoon boat tour. Tour guides make or break these tours, and Tamara was an absolute blast (full of interesting facts, positive energy, friendly social)!

SEProfessional and well organized Professional and well organized. We went to the glacial boat tour (Fjallsarlon) and glacier walk in Iceland. These were operated by 2 different companies with a 40 min drive in between (you need to have a car).
