Mirror mirror on the wall what's the best apartment of them all! The spacious outdoor area gave this apartment a greater feel of Parisien atmosphere than usually felt in most small accommodation in Paris. The proximity to the metro, the Pompidou Centre, the outdoor cafe culture and the ability to walk to Notre Dame, along the River Seine or to the Louvre was ideal. Fitness is a must due to the 99 stairs but Elcel was great helping with the luggage and checking us in. Maybe not the best place for first time in Paris as the night-life is full on and can, in places, be a bit seedy.

Perfect apartment in the heart of Paris The apartment has very convinient location - a few steps from the Eiffel Tower and 2 big Metro/RAR stations. It is decorated with attention to the details, looks exactly as on the pictures, very clean and spacious enough for 4 people. The owner is very punctual and cooperative - at his place we felt like real parisians even for 4 days. We'll strongly reccommend to friends and will deffinetely choose it again for our next stay.

Quiet apartment in a handy location This apartment is in a secure building well back from the road. Consequently, it was very peaceful and quiet, making sleeping easy. It had everything we needed and the Wi-Fi was reasonably quick. It is just a short stroll down to busy Rue de Mouffetard's dozens of eateries and interesting shops. There is a bus stop right out the front, which gives access to most areas and the nearest Metro station is just a few minutes walk away. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

Low Rent Budget Apartment Positive: Location (already reviewed). Owner is helpful and honest. Felt safe walking and the street is quiet. Negative: The apartment quality suits its rent; since Paris is expensive, the rent may help the budget-minded. (We had few choices when our desired rental cancelled.) The building is old; a few apartments are modern but this one is behind times. Some obvious, generally tolerable cosmetic and comfort-oriented deficits need attention. There is no lift and the unit is up two levels. A cramped loo is separate from the bath.

Great location, so-so accomodation The guy who handled the rental - Romain - was wonderful. The apartment itself was perfectly nice, and the location is wonderful. The problems: the cable tv was out and was never taken care of; the wall mount for the shower was gone, so showering required a bit of maneuvering. If those little things get taken care of, this is a great place to stay. Otherwise, it's just an annoying experience.
