Pearl Harbour Tour Found a Pearl harbour tour online and booked over the phone through Hawaii tours. The staff member was very helpful and informative and gave me the confidence that I was getting what I wanted. I received excellent email and phone confirmation. The company that I toured with was Hoku tours. They picked me up opposite my hotel right on time. My tour guide was absolutely fantastic and the tour schedule was outstanding. There were so many versions and companies to do a tour of Pearl Harbor with it was overwhelming and yet I am very glad I chose this company.

PCC and island tour We booked a tour+visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center Driver was great, explaining a lot of what we saw and the historical context. Very entertaining as well, kept us looking out the windows and laughing. Some issues - A little too many comments on the "government doesn't do it's job" line. Tell me the facts and I can decide for myself. Also, more for the tour description - it mentions seeing the LDS Temple. Viewing it from a distance while driving along didn't really qualify. Also had an issue with the tickets. At the price we thought we were getting the VIP tickets, but it was not so. No difference booking through BestOf and booking with the Polynesian Cultural Center directly.

Vacation highlight Nate was an excellent guide: easy going, yet very focused on the particular needs of his guests. He made connections with every individual on board and was highly engaging about the birding, locales, conservation, and the history and culture of Hawaii. We saw all three endemic species of bird that survive on Oahu as well as--on a golf course!--Bristle Thighed Curlew and exhilarating fly-by views of a Laysan Albatross. I booked the Star of Honolulu dinner… I booked the Star of Honolulu dinner cruise and made a mistake in the booking. I booked 5 people instead of a party of 4. the representative immediately called me back to notify me of my mistake and refund my money for the additional ticket. Once we arrived at the dock it was easy and accommodating to pick up the tickets. my mother was in a wheelchair and was not looking for any special treatment. We were all in line waiting to board when a member came over and escorted my mother up the ramp onto the ship and brought us to our table. The waiter, dinner, and show were all above expectations. I would recommend this experience.

The show was amazing but I was… The show was amazing but I was disappointed with the food. I had been to a similar event many years ago and remember wonderful dinner of a variety of salads combined with roasted pig I can’t remember if it was cooked in the ground or over a fire but it was amazing. The buffet that was served was not great although a variety of meats and fishes. they were over cooked and dry. That combined made the dinner something to take care of hunger but quite unremarkable.
