DERented a bike at Central Park South Rented a bike at Central Park South, next to metro station, perfect location to start a bike tour. Price information clear and transparent without hidden extra charges. Renting a bike was so easy and fast. Super friendly service team. Next visit to NY I'll be back :)

GBPhillip was a great tour guide for 7 of… Phillip was a great tour guide for 7 of us. Five were in our party, 2 adults and 3 teenagers. They exchanged 2 bikes for one tandem for two of us upon request. They supplied helmets and time to wander around at our leisure at each of the landmark stops. Great explanations too. The day was also perfect in the high 60's F bright and sunny (mid March) for fabulous pictures.

GBNot good at all... I ordered a bicycle from the Bike Rent NYC online shop. 10 days later I had to call them about the shipment. When I received the shipment then two days later it was a completely different and wrong product. Customer service was of little help and made promises that were never fulfilled. After another week I still haven’t received my product and the contacts will not answer their phones or emails and their mailboxes are full. Consumers beware.

GBBuying used scooter I just ordered 2 used electric scooters and it seems to be very easy and convenient to purchase and pick up my orders. Hopefully the entire process will be as easy as this has been so far. Will let you guys know own when I've completed the whole process.

AUHead over hills in Central Park due to lack of staff pointing out basic operating procedures. I'm from Australia where the rear brake is operated by the left hand. Operating staff should have pointed out that at NYC the left hand operates the front pedal. Surely every bike hire should include a brief handover about operating procedures. Unfortunately, I used what I thought was the rear brake which was in fact the front one. Head over hills. 30K hospital bill. Thank you very much, Brian
