DO NOT BOOK ONLINE Was in person in Central Park waiting to rent bikes. Was approached by a salesperson that I could “get a better deal booking online.” He stayed by my side the entire time while booking. I verified that I’d be getting the bike from the present location which he emphatically assured was true. Upon completion of the online rental, I step in line to pick up our bikes. I was told I had to go to a location several blocks away, towards midtown to pick them up. I was very frustrated and the salesperson who had been helping me was now “taking a break.” I was with my young daughter and did not want to ride bikes, even only a few blocks, through the streets of New York. They refused to refund my money. TOTAL CROOKS!

So pleased with this purchase!! So pleased with this purchase!!! Bike arrived in 2 days in excellent condition. Called the shop before placing online order and they were very helpful and answered all my questions. Slight assembly required but was expecting that when I opted to have it shipped- basically just need to put the wheels, seat and handlebars on. Very happy with the overall experience. Bike is like new and my daughter is going to be super excited with her new wheels she will be getting for her birthday!! Highly recommend using this seller.

Watch your credit card statements After we returned our bikes, we were told our deposit had been refunded back onto our credit card. This did not happen. Several phone calls later, the issue was not resolved. Only when we involved the credit card company did we finally receive our deposit back. I understand mistakes and glitches can happen, but it should not take more than one month to correct.

Head over hills in Central Park due to lack of staff pointing out basic operating procedures. I'm from Australia where the rear brake is operated by the left hand. Operating staff should have pointed out that at NYC the left hand operates the front pedal. Surely every bike hire should include a brief handover about operating procedures. Unfortunately, I used what I thought was the rear brake which was in fact the front one. Head over hills. 30K hospital bill. Thank you very much, Brian

UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER I'm actually pretty disappointed as I purchased a bike on April 7th, 2021 and I received a purchase confirmation stating that I would receive a tracking number in 1-2 days and it is the 13th and still NOTHING. I had called them on the 7th and they said they were preparing the bike for shipment, so NO I'm not happy as I could have already had a bike delivered if I would have used another company. I think when it is in writing that you will have updated information in 1-2 days they should provide that. Not happy.
