The 4 door car took us easily with a pencil golf bag & two suitcases. I would choose a higher capacity car in the Johannesburg area as it is much higher & 1.6 is the minimum capacity needed to be comfortable. Recommended agents

AUCannot agree more with all the one stars Cannot agree more with all the one stars ,would give 0 if i could. Cause this is the incompetence and lack of commitment of their staff. 2 months passed and I’m still chasing my money , deducted after returning the car from my cc without any comments from anyone check24, cardelmar or Buchbinder. All 3 of them stand for bad service.if you don’t wanna deal with your customers then start doing something else and leave the space for reputable and trustworthy services.

GBA really good service that met all our needs. Car Hire Companies in tourist resorts can be a real pain to deal with - even the best. CarDelMar take the hassle away, explain the insurances and save you a bit of money in the deal. It doesn't stop the hire company agents trying to sell you all kinds of extras but it gives you the confidence to politely refuse. I will use them for all my car hire requirements.

DETerrible experience! Terrible experience! I was charged twice: first time when the payment didn’t go through and the second when it did. Be careful of the hidden costs and charges! We paid €218 for voucher through Car Del Mar and only €160 was used ad the voucher, the rest was VAT and service fee. On top of that we paid €200 MORE for car insurance through Hertz. Customer service at Car Del Mar is extremely poor, agents DON’T follow up on the cases and simply don’t resolve them.
