Grand el mirador Tenerife Grand el mirador Tenerife Classy hotel , traditional Spanish build. Clean , spacious, quality rooms, quality food, excellent staff, nothing too much trouble. Beautiful setting , overlooking the ocean. 7th time we have been, well maintained Recommended

Recent stay Careful with hidden fees!! They waited til checkout the tell us we had an unknown bill for “taxes” after paying OVER 600 a night for the Presidential suite! We left with bug bites ( NOT like normal bites ) covering my entire arms & legs even wearing repellent and they say it’s from the sand? ALSO: service and friendly happens upfront when u arrive BUT falls away QUICKLY and they definitely know what their doing by serving very small amounts of food & drinks. So all inclusive is definitely controlled! Plus the dinner reservations at the inside restaurants are also very small portions and take forever to get your food:( Front desk lady that sits at customer relations Is SUPER RUDE & very hateful :(

If I could give a negative star I… If I could give a negative star I would. Firstly the check in and out staff at Alcudia park are quite rude. No interest in assisting with queries. The room was tiny despite the huge price and not well maintained. No change of towels for the last 3 days. The food was poor and the management of a busy restaurant was not positive. The key bracelet didn’t work and was a waste of time as we had to keep going back to reception. Overall experience was poor much better value with alternative hotel Groups.

BE AWARE! BE AWARE!! These people will take your reservation money and will not refund it even if you change your dates. Tried contacting the hotel directly and won't even take my calls. The lady in charge of reception - Leslie Barbieri - didn't even try to understand my situation and the reason why I changed my reservation dates. All in all I'm out of $1200.00 and no resolution from Iberostar in Lima, Peru. Lesson learned

AVOID IBEROSTAR HOTELS ALTOGETHER AVOID IBEROSTAR HOTELS ALTOGETHER. They attempted to scam us the day before arrival to Tucan in Playa del Carmen. We couldn't log into the app, so we called to get help with this. Upon calling the reservations department, they told us that our reservation in fact was not confirmed (despite receiving a confirmation email when we booked months prior). They told us that when we booked, someone else had booked at the very same time; this caused our booking to be invalid and not in the system according to them. To confirm our booking, we needed to pay the current rate, which was 70 USD extra per night. We were freaking out that we had just flown all the way to Mexico and did not have a confirmed booking, and totally outraged that they were JUST NOW telling us this fact and demanding more money from us. After MUCH arguing and demaniding to speak to a supervisor, and then their supervisor, they agreed to reduce this rate by 50% (first sign this was a scam). We stood our ground and they finally waived this altogether. We then demanded to speak with the front desk at Tucan, who said our reservation was indeed confirmed and we were good to go. So that proved that the whole "you have no confirmed booking" was all a scam by the reservation department of Iberostar. This caused us the most insane amount of stress the day before arrival; half the family was in tears, and we were about to pay this extra money they claimed we owed because we had no other choice (or place to stay being Easter). Luckily, we held our ground, and getting through to our resort directly resolved everything. This experience completely caused us to lose all trust in Iberostar in general, and despite a wonderful vacation at Tucan, we will NEVER book a stay at any Iberostar in the future. We have spread the word on this experience on the Facebook page for Iberostar, so hopefully this will warn others to not book with Iberostar. It's such a shame that they run such a shady operation and try to get more money out of customers who are already paying such a premium and all of our hard earned money for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Such a shady dishonest company.
