GBIsabella was GREAT!!! I had the pleasure of chatting with the wonderful Isabella this afternoon. She made my travel credit refund request seamless. I can't wait to use my credit and take a much needed vacation! I was a little apprehensive because of all of the negative reviews that I'd read, but it was so easy and my rep was so kind. I asked her my question and she immediately had an answer, and even better, it was one I really liked! Even if she had given me "bad news" I would have still given her 5 stars.

GBEvery hotel we had was a long way from… Every hotel we had was a long way from the cities and had subpar food. We paid a mandatory tip and assumed it would be for our travel guide, who was fantastic, they told me not to worry about where the tip goes. 240 for two of us. We also paid for 2 visas as it was required last July. By January we didn't need one. I called twice and they said they would check thier "agencies". No reply. Very unethical company. By the way their add ons are more expensive than doing it yourself. The plus is our trip to Turkey was wonderful because of our excellent tour guide.

CAThe offer of $299 US was real in 2018… The offer of $299 US was real in 2018 prior to Covid. We were able to visit China with 1st class accommodations, plenty of good food and a couch bus included. However, when we purchased the second deal it did not push through due to covid and now they no longer offer the same deal so we just got issued vouchers which we couldn't use at this moment because all the tours are now highly expensive. the downside, we get too many calls from China and we believe our personal info has been shared with businesses. The hotels also collected our passports when staying overnight.

GBHelp UTO give your money back by filing a complaint with TICO. If you are one of the many people who had their China + something else trip cancelled for one of many reasons UTO gave, help UTO give your money back by filing a complaint with the agency Travel Industry Council of Ontario (as listed on bottom left of UTO's website in blue and green tico.ca). They have helped some people already and knows of this company's practice. Like many others, I had a trip to China & Thailand all paid for from a promotional sale. UTO cancelled it and does not offer refunds, only future travel credit. 3 months after filing a complaint, UTO reached out to me on where to send my refund.
