Cheap fares.com MISLEADING! Cheap fares.com is more like misrepresentation of the Spirit airlines with a twist of Manipulation!. BEWARE! Horrible experience! I was not able to get on my flight because spirit said 2 late to check in your bag that I already paid an extra charge with cheap fares. Spirit airlines said you need 2 hours prior to this short trip Frontier requires 1 hour for boarding where spirit requires 2 . Then Calvin neglected to inform me it was too late by the time I got my boarding pass.only hours before my flight! They are more concerned on how your gonna pay for the checked in bag than explain the rules or tell you detail pertinent info! & kept asking me for my Visa! Never informed me! I have never flown spirit, & will never do so again! Cheapfares Initially booked with a 356.77 charge as Zac placed a courtesy “hold” for 1 hour. than said that’s fine call bk in 30 min to confirm than low & behold it went up another 100.00! What hold?! They LIE! They asked to speak w the spirit airline staff and Spirit said NO! We don’t talk to 3rd party companies, they’re typically misleading & do absolutely NOTHING TO make it right! The airline told me to stay away from them lots of problems with them! & Still NO Resolution! Got stuck paying an addition 99.00 to rebook ticket for tomorrow. End up missing my friends birthday party! They couldn’t even adjust the price or credit me anything for the inconvenience !Clearly spirit airline is NOT on the same page with this phony company that reals you in to take your money! Stick with booking directly w the airlines and SAVE yourself a headache! & loss of money!!! I do NOT recommend this company I should’ve known based on how unprofessional they answer their phone! Indian based company with no compassion! Vultures! My ticket that should’ve been 356 round trip end up costing me 656! Nearly doubled!!! Do yourself a favor & STAY AWAY! THIS IS BAD BUSINESS!

Bait and switch times two Bait and switch times two. This company should not be in business. They advertise a low fare, you book it, they send you a confirmation and an hour later they (from India) call to say the fare has gone up and ask for authorization to pay the additional amount. In my case, it was almost double the advertised price. My wife had an almost identical experience a few hours earlier. The rep called her and said the fare had increased from $348 to $1100 but that they would cut “her a deal” and offered her the one way ticket for $550. We both ended up purchasing our tickets through the official airline site paying more than the advertised cheapfare.com price but less than their scammed price. My advice: DO NOT, under any circumstance, use this company to purchase an airline ticket. They are a complete scam and should not be trusted.

Total bait and switch scheme Total bait and switch scheme. They let you make a reservation at an amazing price, only to call you later and tell you that your low-cost seat (basic economy) is sold out, and you must pay $200 more dollars to them to stay on that flight but in a more expensive (main cabin) seat. And they said I would need to wait 24 hours to get confirmation for that main cabin seat. I had no idea why it should take 24 hours, so I replaced my credit card and just bought my ticket through the regular airline website. It was $35 more than the new price they had quoted me, but was well worth the confidence and peace of mind that I did in fact have a ticket. Terrible.
