GBAwful Awful. I'd paid extra for comfort+ so I could book seats and sit together, and Delta changed them all so we were no longer sitting together for some of the flights. Only got the seats I selected on one out of four of the flights. Staff were very rude when I was contacting them trying to sort this. They then didn't leave enough time for a connection and we missed our next flight. We were bumped down to economy and weren't even provided with biscuits for the next 8 hours we were in their 'care' trying to get to our destination, which we finally arrived at the day after intended.

GBDo a better job of being on time I started getting notifications about 7am that my 2pm flight was an hour late. I got to the airport early and talked to a ticket agent who said I would have 20 minutes to catch the connecting flight and would be fine. After moving very slowly to board and takeoff, I started getting notifications that my next flight would be boarding soon. I asked a flight attendant about this and he couldn’t help me. He was very nice but didn’t help me. After we landed and as we taxied in, I got a notice that my flight was taking off. So Delta started sending me notices to choose another flight. But the earliest flight I could choose didn’t leave for another 9 1/2 hours and included a layover before getting home. So, it ended up taking me an extra 19 hours to get home. And the worst part is that I talked to 3 Delta employees and none of them helped me at all. The crazy part is that I felt even though they were warning me all day that I was going to have these long delays, there was absolutely nothing I could do about it

GBStrongly recommend avoiding Delta I would recommend avoiding Delta if at all possible. We had booked to fly from Atlanta to Dublin but ended up having our flight delayed 2+ hours. During the delay, the Delta desk agents would not answer any questions about the cause of the delay or how long the delay would be. The staff overall seemed to not know what was going on and even later stated that they "needed to go see what was going on" before they would be able to provide a departure time. Overall, the impression is of a poorly run airline, with staff that were unable or unwilling to answer any questions.

GBEasy to change the ticket name! I wanted to change the name of the passenger on my ticket and so I reached out to the help chat on Delta's website. EJ helped me after I was forwarded to them through the chat bot and the interaction was super streamlined and easy. I filled out a short form with the name change and then it was done, just like that! No fee, no waiting days, absolutely amazing. For United Airlines, to do the same thing, I talked with an agent for 30 minutes for them to tell me to request a refund that I may not even be qualified for and then buy another ticket. So, I am very satisfied with Delta's customer service and system.

FRNul point Nul point. The rating here on Trust Pilot does not surprise me. Should have checked before we booked! Missed a connection. Delta's fault. Girl at lounge was kind (we had to go there to ask what to do - no other guidance) but otherwise complete lack of empathy from Delta staff at Boston. We are very frequent fliers and know what good looks like. Never again. KLM (who we booked with), what were you thinking code sharing????
