IEMSC World Europa MSC World Europa, first time on a cruise. Read the reviews and was shocked at such bad reviews. The world europa the staff are so friendly, efficient and approachable, the food catered for all tastes, cabins lovely and clean, housekeeping on top of everything. The only downside are the passengers, can’t get over the rudeness and ignorance of the majority of them. Excursions excellent value for money, entertainment also very good.

CAMSC Cruise Line is Terrible Apart from the super-friendly and efficient staff, nothing remotely positive to say about MSC. Just finished [disembarked at Quebec City April 2,2024] segments of the MSC Poesia 2024 "Around the World" cruise [embarked at Genoa Italy Jan 5, 2024]. Changes in itinerary [beyond control of cruise line] were not compensated similar to other cruise lines [which afforded [opportunity to cancel, cash compensation, opportunity for passengers to select alternative itinerary/ports etc etc], Plus why sail through arctic waters without indoor pools/whirlpools? Little, if any, advance notice as to other last minute itinerary changes lacking valid reasons for change. Result: Too many additional days at sea. Plus "replacement ports" were mostly inferior to those ports within original itinerary. Avoid this Cruise line if at all possible!

GBTerrible treatment I can't believe what MSC has done. I checked my booking for a cruise on 6th May ( 4 days off). Only to find that my cabin has been changed without consulting/informing me.... I booked this cruise last year for 2 friends and myself. 2 cabins on the same deck. Now I am 2 decks away from my friends & in a totally different part of the ship. What do they think they are doing? Spoke to travel agent who basically said that it is on the terms & conditions of MSC.... So much for a holiday with friends. Thanks MSC for ruining a holiday that hasn't even started. I will be going back to a company I trust who doesn't upgrade unless you ask P&O.

GBWhat went wrong What went wrong? Macia at the shopping event desk! She lacks training in public relations! The general staff is excellent however one bad apple can surely spoil everything! Training for Macia is necessary because being abrupt and discourteous can put a bad reputation on any business! My daughter and I waited in line to ask a question where your untrained worker slammed the information brochure hard on the desk with a cold abrupt “any thing else?” She proceeded to give further explanation after she saw the distaste but by then her attitude was already the elephant in the room! Please help her with courtesy and professionalism if she must deal with the public - this incident happened on 4/16 @ 6:54 approximately.

GBCurrently on MSC Poesia world cruise Currently on MSC Poesia world cruise. MSC Customer service has been appalling…. No response to written correspondence prior to embarkation (due to multiple itinerary route changes - some of which were due to the Red Sea conflict, others due to yellow fever, others due to, well who knows!!). Complaints made to the CS manager whilst on the ship also gone ignored. Replacement ports poor, food below standard, entertainment terrible. Currently 900 passengers have signed a petition as a result of their dissatisfaction to the sailing = 40% of the ships passengers which shows how bad it is. Threats are now being made by the ships staff (including Captain) to retract complaints, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!! One saving grace is the fabulous hospitality staff on board who MSC are unbelievably lucky to have.
