Trying to give this company cash for an… Trying to give this company cash for an upgrade is impossible. Have 9 seats booked for august 24 from London to Vietnam. We want to upgrade to premium economy or business class and have tried every way possible to do this without using the bidding function for the last leg of our journey. Have tried the whats app function that says to do it online, online says to call or message. Messaging takes forever and eventually they hang up. Finally got to speak to someone who quoted wrongly (£2100.10 for 9 passengers to upgrade to business class) clearly that was wrong which i had to call out, they checked and it was. They then didnt know how to check for upgrades as part of our flight is operated by hong king air, but ended up saying it wasnt possible but they themselves didnt know why and they couldnt get hold of a manager to help. So far wasted 7-8 hours of my time trying to sort this, would be cancelling if i wouldnt lose the money as im really not looking to the flight given the pre-experience so far.

I've traveled my entire life to 40… I've traveled my entire life to 40 countries and had hundreds of flights, but my last flight on Cathay Pacific from Thailand to California through Hong Kong was the worst I've ever had. Understaffed, horrible food, requested a coffee and was told 4 times they'd bring it, and when it did arrive it was 1/4 full, in a tiny cup and cold. The flight attendants don't seem happy, bathrooms left filled with trash, and hours of no service. I'll never fly with them again. Of course, it could have just been a bad crew, but after reading the many recent 1 star reviews, I see my feelings are shared.

I have flew with them for the very… I have flew with them for the very first time, from HK to SYD. Excellent customer service. However, I have contacted them regarding an item left behind during my flight, I'm still waiting for them to get back to me. I don't think the item was taken by any other passengers.

Awful entertainment system, poor food and service Well they got me there and back safely from Heathrow to Hong Kong. On the way, the food was awful, the entertainment screen didn't work properly and the hand set was missing. On the way back, the food was poor, the entertainment system was reset 4 times and still failed... And, I had paid for premium economy - what a mistake! One toilet on the other side of the plane, and you had to circle the plane to get to it

Really rude staff at the check in… Really rude staff at the check in counter at Chennai India. The manager Suresh Babu specifically stated he does not care if I had medicines or food or water he needs to meet the weight for cabin baggage by a kg margin. He asked me to throw them or whatever it takes to show him the weight. I noticed that I was singled out and the others passengers did not weigh their back back + luggage. I am never flying Cathay again and will recommend my followers and friends to stay away from them.
