Jetblue flight was cancelled while we… Jetblue flight was cancelled while we were on our first flight. It happens, made it home via greyhound. Trying to get our refund a month later has been an absolute headache. Hours between Orbitz chat and phone, they wouldn't refund directly so reach out to Turkish Airlines and Jetblue, and they keep saying to contact the other (reservations all under Turkish Airlines, Jetblue operated second plane). Orbitz support is all Indian. They won't listen to anything you say but go through their 'process' will never work with them again. They should be helpful instead of an obstacle.

Car rental vehicle didn't exist I ordered a car rental, I arrived at the location and they told me there was no cars available. The minimum expectation when ordering a car rental is that the rental company have the vehicle available. If nothing is available, I expect to be contacted about this problem before I travel to pickup the nonexistent vehicle. When I contacted Orbitz they could only offer to cancel. Better to book direct.

Don't book!! Was trying to book my husband's and I 40/50 birthday trip to Vegas and they charged my card for a hotel/flight package and I didn't get an itinerary number. So no I have to wait for the charges on my account to drop to rebook. Customer service was no help and now we are prolly gonna have to pay more! Frustrating and disappointing!

Agents either don't know, or don't want to implement airline restrictions/policies properly. We had to three-way call in an airline representative to explain to the Orbitz agent that we were allowed to make changes and that there were flights available to book the changes. Only then were we able to actually get our flight rebooked. Seriously. Book directly with the airline. It costs less. You will see more flight options. The features and restrictions of the tickets will be more transparent. Finally, in my experience the airlines are more helpful when you need assistance. And *that's* a pretty low bar that Orbitz fails to clear. I've been an Orbitz user since late 2001. I'm out.

Dont book low-cost airlines through Orbitz!!!! Not free or easy 24 hr cancellation When booking my easyjet ticket site states bold and clear - "Free cancellation within 24 hours". No asterisk or caveat for low cost airlines. In the fine print when finalizing payment, it states that if an airline charges a cancellation fee it is passed to the customer. You canNOT cancel easyjet directly with Orbitz, must call easyjet - and then esayjet charges a $75 cancellation fee (even within the 24 hours). The charge shows up from easyjet, not Orbitz so you cant dispute with the credit card company.
