I absolutely HATE orbitz I absolutely HATE orbitz. I purchased flight tickets, but cancelled them for a refund. The website stated the incorrect date, causing me to miss the actual expiration date. When they fixed the problem, they still didn't let me book new flights with the refund eCredit. I followed all the guidelines. Orbitz say that I must contact Delta about my issues, Delta says it's up to Orbitz to handle my issue. Customer service takes forever to do minor tasks. Please, please do not support Orbitz unless you enjoy wasting your time.

Frustrated with Orbitz Customer Service Rented a Eurocar in Italy thru Orbitz in June 2023. My credit card was overcharged $75.00 from original booking confirmation from Orbitz. Spent over an hour talking to Orbitz customer service agent located in Egypt tryiing to get an explanation and a refund. The agent finally told me he could not help me with the overcharge problem and I would have to call the rental company. No longer will rent thru a third party.

We booked a trip and upgraded our We booked a trip and upgraded our flights to include seat choice, refundable and carry on. After we booked we went to the airline site to book our seats and we were told we had post extra and no carry on. Orbitz refused to assist us and the confirmation email they sent did not include these upgraded choices although we paid the extra fees.

Jetblue flight was cancelled while we… Jetblue flight was cancelled while we were on our first flight. It happens, made it home via greyhound. Trying to get our refund a month later has been an absolute headache. Hours between Orbitz chat and phone, they wouldn't refund directly so reach out to Turkish Airlines and Jetblue, and they keep saying to contact the other (reservations all under Turkish Airlines, Jetblue operated second plane). Orbitz support is all Indian. They won't listen to anything you say but go through their 'process' will never work with them again. They should be helpful instead of an obstacle.

No help on hotel stay date mistake Booked a flight and hotel together. Due to the length of the flight, it arrives a day later in the destination country. Orbitz automatically set the start date for the hotel for the day the flight leaves... so I was going to miss the entire first day of the reservation and most of the second. I noticed it right after I got to their confirmation window / itinerary and immediately contacted support (5 minutes after booking). After waiting 10 minutes to chat with someone and waiting 2-5 minutes between each of their questions, I needed to respond to their texts within 60 seconds to avoid having my request summarily closed. Having managing to do that, I was told there was nothing the frontline agent could do, but that they would escalate the case internally. I got an email the next day saying the reservation was confirmed with the hotel and Orbitz would do nothing to help me change it. I replied that a room credit would be fine, no money need actually change hands. They still refused to do anything at all. Would not recommend using them.
