GBSomehow the website allowed me to… Somehow the website allowed me to DOUBLE book the EXACT same flight for the SAME person SAME time SAME day and they would not allow me to cancel without paying $150 fee, sending a photo of my id, and a photo of the card I paid the $150 with (mind you I'm a free spirit rewards card holder and this is how they treated me). This should be ILLEGAL. Shady practices. I'm absolutely disgusted and after this trip is over and I use up the small amount of points left on the card, I'm saying GOOD-BYE and good riddance to this company. Flying spirit SEEMS to be cheaper but all the extra nonsense they put you through, you pay with your time and sanity.

PRStrange most people are complaining but… Strange that most people are complaining but why are Spirit flights always full? To add salt to wound, they keep expanding with new planes!

GBAnother company that talks a big game… Another company that talks a big game but you get less they you even pay for (which is saying some). I have flown with them on and off over the years spanning both business and personal flights and they just continue to disappoint. Every interaction with them seems to be someone that either can't help you or they are just outright rude. They will outright lie to you and run you up on cost so you might as well just fly with the other airlines unless you are forced to fly with them and you don't need to take much if anything with you.

GBThis airline is a disgrace This airline is a disgrace. I only fly this pathetic airline because it is typically the only non-stop flight from Fort Lauderdale to Phoenix. Nearly every time, rain or shine, this horrible airline is late, and not just by a little. They should not be allowed to fly at all.

GBSpirit Airlines Flight Attendant's Discrimination Ruined My Trip I experienced shocking discrimination and abysmal customer service on a recent Spirit Airlines flight (FLL-ORD, March 26th, delayed past 1am on March 27th). A flight attendant – a middle-aged white male, average height, with blond hair with ponytail up – targeted me despite my having paid extra for an exit row seat. He claimed my English wasn't "fluent enough" for safety (it absolutely is!) and rudely forced me to switch with a native speaker. I was given no reasonable explanation. When I asked for his name and badge number, he defiantly removed his badge. I felt humiliated and believe his actions had racial undertones. This ruined my trip – I missed an important meeting due to the delay and lack of sleep. Spirit Airlines, THIS IS WRONG. Address this flight attendant's behavior and fix your horrendous customer service!
