Our trip to Japan was wonderful Our trip to Japan was wonderful. It is hard to sum up in just a few words, but it was a very memorable trip. The planning from UME and Steven Hu was superb, there were smooth interfaces between cities, travelling, new drivers, etc, and that was much appreciated. The hotels were generally good. Our tour guide Jeremy was very professional, smart, caring, prompt, attentive to detail, and he truly tried to make this a good trip for us, he was able to refine and tailor the trip to better suit our interests. He is a very good tour guide and he made a big difference to the quality of our trip. Overall, we are very pleased with the trip to Japan put together for us by Steven Hu and UME. I would not hesitate to use the services of UME again for a trip to Asia, or to recommend UME to anyone who is considering a trip there. Thank you and all your staff for putting together this trip for us!

This is my second time visiting Japan… This is my second time visiting Japan and it continues to be one of my favorite countries I have visited. Perhaps it's because I left all the planning to our travel agent at UME travel. I tried booking things myself last trip (eight years ago) and it felt less enjoyable. Also, we felt so lucky on this trip because we got nice weather, saw the top of Mt. Fuji, and made it during Sakura (cherry blossom 🌸). Definitely a must do for anyone with children. This is the first time all three of my kids (18, 17, 11) agreed on this being a very fun trip. Update: Hi I received so many requests for the itinerary so I will just add it to the photos. Our UME travel agent is named Steven Hu He also arranged our trip to the phillipines last time and that was also amazing. Also, added pictures of Nara park where cute deers roam free and you can feed them and they will bow to you. My kids loved it

Steven put together a FIVE STAR trip for me! I am so happy to share this review. I reached out to Steven and gave him parameters for a vacation with a friend. He put together an itinerary for us and we were prepared for our journey. At the last minute, we had a change where my friend could not travel with me. Steven revised the trip for a solo traveler, and WHAT A TRIP IT WAS!!!! His communication was prompt and well-voiced. My excursions we perfect and my guide, Puja, was absolutely amazing. I only disliked one excursion. My guide made for a deeper understanding of the local culture and I walked away with a life enhancing experience. Steven, thank you so much for making my trip seamless even with the challenges I put before you. I will definitely use you again for another vacation. Amazing Honeymoon in Japan My husband and I traveled to Japan for our honeymoon. It was our first time in the country and traveling with UME was a great decision. We worked with Amber to plan our itinerary according to our budget and interests. Communication prior to the trip was clear and timely. We were able to dictate specific things we wanted to do without having to stress over the logistics of actually making it happen. Most of the items on our itinerary were those suggested by the tour company, which saved us from having to extensively research and dig through reviews. Upon arriving in Japan, all of our drivers and guides contacted us around a day before we were scheduled to work with them. It was great to have private guides. Not only did they teach us about landmarks and history, but made sure we did not commit any breaches of etiquette and were able to lead us to lunch spots, shopping areas, etc. based on our preferences and their recommendations. One thing we chose to do was use public transit for some areas within the city. Initially we did this to devote more money toward higher-end hotels, but it wound up being quite fun and interesting. I was grateful to have our guides meet us every AM at our hotel, buy our tickets, and accompany us on the subway. Amber made sure to check in with us throughout our trip to ensure everything was going to our satisfaction.

Amazing experience We did a trip to Japan with the agency, Steven was our agent, he was amazing. All our doubts were resolved in detail. The trip was incredible, all the guides were very polite and with a lot of experience, for sure they made our trip unforgettable. We saw a lot of sakuras everywhere, perfect date selection. We will schedule another trip with them, we loved everything.
