MXWe feel covered long-term, they have an extra warranty option in case any of their suppliers go out of biz We got a few quotes, and nearly everyone’s warranty on the panels, roof, and inverters is the same. Looks like the market’s standard has been set by the manufacturers. FYI: You have a 90% production guarantee, so if the panels don’t produce 90% of the power they said they would the team gets a notification and replaces the one that isn’t producing. This gave me peace of mind.

USKnowledgeable and professional The consultant I met with was an ex-finance guy, so it felt like I was making the right decision, and the solar loan felt like a financial hack. He made it clear that the lease or PPA options didn’t make sense for us because if we didn’t choose these we wouldn’t save on taxes. Grateful for their guidance and expertise… hope these guys win!

BDGot solar… No door to door people, great! We had a couple of door-to-door people tell us about solar before, they were around 22 y/o, and super pushy. By contrast, the person at Modern Electric really felt like a consultant.

USMight as well do it right, even if it costs a little more They cost a little more than others but I believe it was well worth it. I learned that other solar companies subcontract out their work, so quality suffers.

PHGot everyone on the same page I wanted to move forward with solar when the rep presented to me, but he insisted my husband was there, which irritated me at first, but I’m glad we did it that way. My husband has questions I didn’t think of, and the rep recapped everything we went over so it was super clear. He was with us every step of the way with iMessage updates (blue bubbles felt like I wasn’t getting spam texted lol) but it was high-touch… exactly what we needed with a decision with this long of a time horizon.
