BDGot solar… No door to door people, great! We had a couple of door-to-door people tell us about solar before, they were around 22 y/o, and super pushy. By contrast, the person at Modern Electric really felt like a consultant.

MXWe feel covered long-term, they have an extra warranty option in case any of their suppliers go out of biz We got a few quotes, and nearly everyone’s warranty on the panels, roof, and inverters is the same. Looks like the market’s standard has been set by the manufacturers. FYI: You have a 90% production guarantee, so if the panels don’t produce 90% of the power they said they would the team gets a notification and replaces the one that isn’t producing. This gave me peace of mind.

GBMight as well do it right, even if it costs a little more They cost a little more than others but I believe it was well worth it. I learned that other solar companies subcontract out their work, so quality suffers.

GBSmart guys It was great talking to their team, who seem super professional. Some of them used to be in tech, banking, and consulting— I felt more secure with their level of professionalism for this reasons.

GBOnline was easy low-pressure I opted for a video call on Zoom because I’m busy with work, and to be honest I didn’t want to feel any pressure with someone in my house. This was really convenient for my wife and I, the call takes about an hour, and I don’t think it could be shorter because they ask a lot of questions. This annoyed me at first, but by the end I was glad they got all the context I needed for a custom solution.
