YSG installed my rooftop Solar 8 months… YSG installed my rooftop Solar 8 months ago in the 1st week of November 2021, but not hooked up to the CON ED grid yet. For about 8 months we have been waiting and no update/ and no response to my emails and phone calls the last several months. Very unfortunate. Installation was prompt; Ken and Chelsea were very cooperative and always available. I contacted ConEdison about our project (case #587730). The caseworker Ms. Johnson was very nice; said YSG did not sign off yet. I am really worried I was scammed by YSG? Also worried they changed the name of the company to Alpha Solar. Are they planning to dump YSG Customers? So many complaints against them on BBB. I am really worried if I do not get a satisfactory explanation why my solar project #MC-587730 for Service Address ...., Bellerose, NY 11426. Con Edison wrote"Hi David Magid, The final documents have been pending for a few months now. Please submit as soon as possible, and provide the current status of the project". Unfortunately, I haven't received any answer yet, since this correspondence several weeks ago.

My solar system stopped working and now… My solar system stopped working and now I can't get in contact with them. (Called for months and emailed them)Use another solar company if you don't want future headaches. I had issues with YSG for years, especially with the passing of permits and things related to the DOB. (Took a whole year and prob would not have been done if i did not get involved with numerous contacts to the DOB) My consumption meter stopped working a year ago and they refused to fix it, they offered to send me a check to have someone else fix it but it's been a year and still no check with multiple follow ups. Now my solar panels are no longer working and I am stuck with no support. I'm a person that never likes to leave a bad review, because i don't believe in reputation shaming. But YSG definetly deserves the 1 star. Stay away from YSG. Wish I never did business with them. NO INTEGRITY WHATSOEVER.

My neighbor used another company that we met previously who came to our home to provide us an estimate. We started the process and after months nothing occurred, my husband ended up cancelling. We called YSG and within one day of calling we received the estimate. From the day the paperwork was signed until the panel system had been installed was just weeks. This was a big relief. It was not an easy decision for us to go electric with our car. YSG even installed our Tesla charger, they delivered on all of their promises and are a true professional company. There is nothing better than getting a $20 power bill.

YSG Solar My husband & I both firmly believe that we could not have had a better experience with any other company other than YSG. We’ve been on the fence about switching to solar. As I’m sure you you probably know how hard it is to find honest & reliable companies these days. Within one day of leaving a message with YSG Solar I received a call back from Kenny the salesman who set me up with an inspector & his roofer Frankie who both showed up on time when they said they would the next day. Once the financing was approved we had our roof done by Frankie & his crew who were extremely professional & reliable. We than had the panels installed by YSG a month later, awaiting the completion of other work being finished. We appreciate their patience & professionalism. They made our experience stress free!!
