GBSending solar power to my Utility Co. is good. I am delighted that I have finally started to receive "CDG" credits on my utility bill; I am pleased to be sending solar power into my electrical grid. I signed up years ago before they built my local solar array and it was months, if not years before the next contact from Nexamp. At the beginning of last year, I started receiving the CDG credits. As a retired CPA, I'd like Nexamp's billing to be fuller and to correspond to what I'm seeing on the bill from my electric company. At the moment, the 2 accounting systems are living in separate universes. At the moment, I've had 2 months where I paid no utility bill because of accumulated CDG credits. It's a lovely experience, but doesn't seem realistic. On the other hand, I can't find any data on the amount of this accumulated credit on the Nexamp website. Bewildered in Upstate NY--where it's winter and I'm definitely using a lot of electricity.

GBHelp to reduce your carbon footprint Nexamp is committed to healing the planet via alternate energy sources, mainly solar. They allow customers to buy into this mission, thereby reducing the individual/family's carbon footprint and saving money in the long-run. The model is a bit unusual, as it actually pays your energy provider (ie, National Grid, NYSEG, etc.) for the credits you earn, as you pay Nexamp. The amount they pay on your behalf is reduced from your energy bill. I won't get into how and what they do in detail. You can read that on their website. (Just google Nexamp.) I will say, though, if everyone in the area they serve subscribed to this company, our collective carbon footprint would be greatly reduced. I am very happy to be one "bristle in the brush" Nexamp is using to clean our environment.

GBGreat savings. Fantastic customer support. I have been a customer for almost a year and they have been saving me money. As others have stated, the billing took a little bit to get used to, but everyone at the company I spoke with was friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate the time they took to explain everything to me.

GBThe company's billing cycle are a mess The company's billing cycle are a mess. This is after the original agreement at signup that billing would be through our electricity service provider, and not billed seperately. We still have not received our October billing. This has resulted in multiple late payment fees, greatly diminishing any cost reduction from credits. This process is further complicated by Nexamp not accepting any digital bank payments. Given the lack of any real savings, and the huge hassle of dealing with Nexamp's disorganized billing processes, we are terminating our account.
