Bryan Ellerbroek was our plumber in… Bryan Ellerbroek was our plumber in Sioux Falls. He was very professional and competent. He opened up our kitchen drain which was plugged and noticed that our older home still had galvanized pipe and recommended that we convert it to PVC for much better drainage, We agreed and he came back soon to accomplish this difficult task in a speedy manner. Bryan also went above-and-beyond and fixed our washing machine hose to drain directly into the sewer instead of going through a side tub first. Yaaaay, Bryan.

Never have them in my home again Never have them in my home again! Charged $295 to clear a toilet drain and had to come back 3 times because the toilet leaked after they reset it. Was late to the appointment, put nothing over their shoes and it was snowing & icy out. Left a mess to clean up and scratched my vinyl plank floor. The first guy they sent out to fix it was on crutches. What company does that especially in the snow! Next guy so big he barely fit in my bathroom, yes it small but he wasn't. Beware, I will never have them in my home again.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! The immense lack of professionalism, communication and care is unbelievable from a company. We had major plumbing issues that required a lot. I thought the initial call was perfectly fine only to go south. My water heater had to be moved in order to complete the job, they refuse to move it back unless I pay for a new water heater, which I do not need. Failed to protect my own personal property, there was mud all over my personal items. Mud all over my floor, tracked through my house and refused to clean or take any care. I cannot understand how they continue to have customers as the owner was extremely rude and unwilling to handle a customer complaint, only defend the poor work.

I live next door to a neighbor who had a tree clog their water line. I live next door to a neighbors who has huge, huge trees in their front yard. Ultimately the trunk of the trees entered the drain pipe clogging up their house resulting in no water able to come through the clogged lines. Chase & Dakota came out and after a initial consultation with the owner lives in Tennessee and rents the house the entire shared driveway that affects that house and mine had to be totally excavated to get to the root of the problem. It took Chase & Dakota 2 full days and part of both nights to dig deep enough to find the blockage and remove it. They were always polite and apologized for having torn up the shared driveway resulting in neither me or my neighbor able to park in our driveway. They stayed with it despite quite a few setbacks. They professionalism and the warmth they showed throughout this horrific ordeal makes me proud to have met what I call “ individuals who are committed to getting the job done. They both are the cream of the crop for this Peoria Mr. Rooter.

Lies about services provided and charges astronomical rates for only small amounts of non-technical work! I'd give zero stars if I could. This company preys on people's sense of urgency. My husband and I flip homes, but did not have time to deal with a clog in our tenants kitchen sink line, so we called Mr. Rooter to deal with it. A van arrived with “D. Rhodes” logo on it (they must just sub out the jobs). The technician charged us an exorbitant amount of money (just shy of $1000) for less than one-hour worth of non-technical work (to snake the sink and replace its PVC P trap, which I believe he destroyed during the process) with minimal expertise for a simple job. I gave him my American Express card and he forced me to sign his tablet saying it was confirmation that they came out. About a week later we received an email with the bill of which the explanation of service was much exaggerated with several false statements. We contacted the Mr. Rooter office manager “Jennifer” to explain the situation and asked for the bill to be significantly reduced because of such. She said that she would have to speak with her upper management to get approval of such discount and that the technician would give us a call to discuss the fallacies on the bill of service, but both never got back to us after a plethora of calls back to her about the issue. We ended up disputing part of the charge with our American Express Corporate Account who told us that they credited us $100 but would not give us anything additional back because I signed the technician’s tablet, which was apparently agreeing to the exorbitant cost for the repair. Both this company and American Express dropped the ball on this one! Needless to say we will never use this company again and we canceled our American Express accounts as they do not back cardholders as they state they do. Avoid this company and American Express at all costs unless you want to be ripped off.
