GBPlease dont buy Tesla Solar Actually I would not put one star few months back Solar was installed few days it worked and then stop working and last 5/6 months just between scheduling appointments to fix it , technician comes changes something works for few minus he leaves again stops working called tesla they ask to schedule appointment again one month technician comes does something round robin poor poor customer service please dont waste money and your time and peace trust me

GBI would give zero stars if I could - abandonment I would give zero stars if I could. Tesla Solar took my deposit in March 2022, then took several months to do a simple redesign that should have taken one person 5-10 minutes at a desktop. Then it took Tesla Solar another 4-5 months to schedule an in-site inspection. After that, Tesla claimed my roof was in need of repairs based on some internal person's review of photos even though he wasn't a contractor or had any experience with roof work. Even though my roofing contractor said the roof needed no work or repair, I did the work. Spent a small fortune doing unnecessary work just to please Tesla and not give them any more excuses for causing even longer delays... and then Tesla just suddenly decided to cancel the contract! The California contractors licensing board says it is investigating other complaints against Tesla for abandoning contracts. Stay away! Literally any other solar contractor would do a better job. Can't believe I waited the best part of a year for them and they would do this.

GB3-year Tesla solar roof system with… 3-year Tesla solar roof system with inverters that, were already replaced twice, stopped communicating with the gateway and after two tech visits and a new gateway still do not communicate. Now it will take more than 3 weeks to get another tech out to try to determine what the issue with the Tesla equipment is. Why couldn’t the other techs fix the issue. Terrible service making customers wait months to troubleshoot issues, get equipment fixed or replaced. This is in addition to my complaint review, I don't recommend Tesla Energy - Complaint 8.28.22, posted August 29, 2022.

GB3rd World Product and Service from Tesla Solar: Avoid at all costs I paid CASH for a tesla solar system thinking i was dealing with a reputable company who understood customers and their needs. I have spent over $35k on their solar system and powerwall and just after 4 weeks the system has stopped working completely. Since discussing my issue with one of their "service" people i was told that my issue will be sent to their Tier 2 team, who, within 7 - 10 working days will contact me and get the problem fixed. Its now been 15 working days (thats over a month for normal people) and i have had ZERO response from ANYONE at Tesla. When i call in to ask i get a very rude person telling me i have no option but to wait for someone from Tier 2 to respond. Apparently Tier 2 are non customer facing and do not work on weekends. We are completely in their hands as to when our system can operate. I am absolutely dumbfounded with the way in which Tesla has dealt with my issue. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save yourself the frustration and look for a company that values customers. After a month with no solar and no response from Tesla i will be looking at options of trying to retrieve my money back. They have sold me a lie. PLEASE NOTE: after 6 weeks of trying to find out when my system will be repaired i have been advised that Tesla Solar has NO customer service team outside the initial ones. This means if this department cannot fix your issue Tier 2 take over. You cannot communicate with them. They will not communicate with you. There is no one to complain to or to push the complaint to. THIS is Tesla's policy. Just wait until you hear from them and when that will be is not listed as a policy, in other words... tough luck... I am truly lost!! I hope this review steers you away from such an awful company and experience!!
