GBI would give zero stars if I could - abandonment I would give zero stars if I could. Tesla Solar took my deposit in March 2022, then took several months to do a simple redesign that should have taken one person 5-10 minutes at a desktop. Then it took Tesla Solar another 4-5 months to schedule an in-site inspection. After that, Tesla claimed my roof was in need of repairs based on some internal person's review of photos even though he wasn't a contractor or had any experience with roof work. Even though my roofing contractor said the roof needed no work or repair, I did the work. Spent a small fortune doing unnecessary work just to please Tesla and not give them any more excuses for causing even longer delays... and then Tesla just suddenly decided to cancel the contract! The California contractors licensing board says it is investigating other complaints against Tesla for abandoning contracts. Stay away! Literally any other solar contractor would do a better job. Can't believe I waited the best part of a year for them and they would do this.

GBTesla Solar Panels does not provide technical Support We have had Tesla Solar panels for several years without incident until Hurricane Ian and we lost electric for one week. Our bill was always under $50.00 until Nov. when it was $240 and $190 In Dec. In Nov. my husband phoned Tesla and they refused a hone assessment visit stating tha that the Powerwall was working according to their monitoring system. It was Suggested that we phone FPL,After we saw our Dec bill we phone FPL, who also stated our FPL system was working and redused to a home assessment of our electric meter and stated that their monitoring showed decreased energy production of our energy production since July and Tesla is the problem. I would never recommend Tesla Solar panels to anyone, There is no technical support service.

GBGreat cars AWFUL Solar energy We love Tesla cars and the philosophy. We made a HUGE mistake in extending that trust to the solar energy unit. It has been the single worst customer experience we’ve had in fifty years. Buy the cars. Whatever you do, don’t order their solar system or you will go months and months awaiting the smallest inevitable repair.

GB3-year Tesla solar roof system with… 3-year Tesla solar roof system with inverters that, were already replaced twice, stopped communicating with the gateway and after two tech visits and a new gateway still do not communicate. Now it will take more than 3 weeks to get another tech out to try to determine what the issue with the Tesla equipment is. Why couldn’t the other techs fix the issue. Terrible service making customers wait months to troubleshoot issues, get equipment fixed or replaced. This is in addition to my complaint review, I don't recommend Tesla Energy - Complaint 8.28.22, posted August 29, 2022.

GBMake no mistake Make no mistake, this is not the same company that makes the Tesla Powerwall battery and Tesla cars. To be fair, they do include a disclaimer stating as such on their website.
