This company is a scam This company is a scam! They say they honor labor and parts. The did send us a new engine after the one that they built had a valve that wasn't seating causing very low compression at 12k miles. When they received the "warranty engine" back and tore it down they found that their head gaskets were leaking, piston rings were stuck in the pistons and the cylinder walls were scuffed. The engine never overheated it just lost compression in a single cylinder. Mmm , sounds like a build error to me! The customer service is a joke. They took three weeks to email us back, phones are always busy, and they generate excuses that are astonishingly ridiculous to cover their a**. We never got paid for labor and we reported them to the attorney general. If you want a good reliable engine for your vehicle this is not the place to go for that! The build quality is very very poor and only excuses when the inevitable problem happens.

Had a warranty engine from them...they… Had a warranty engine from them...they came up with a lame excuse that motor went bad do to pressure from torque converter made motor seize up called many rebuilders they all said that can't happen. So powertrain would not stand by there warranty and pay the labor I would never use them again.......never........again there tilling me something that never happened I've been installing motors for 45+ years I know what to look fir it was not what they say I pushed converter back when removing bad motor it was not putting pressure on anything .......don't call me a lier u are the dishonest ones........

Great folks to work with! Highly recommended A pristine 2004 Mustang convertible with 230K miles needed a lower engine rebuild due to Rear Main oil leak, due to crank movement even after the rear main seal was replaced. The rebuilt enginge was as much as the rebuild would have been. Delivery was within a week. Great customer service, and great folks to work with. Highly recommended!

After a month of contemplating After a month of contemplating being skeptical about ordering an engine online, I finally did. It was a great decision. Customer service was quick to respond to all of my questions and concerns. And scheduling a core pick up simple and easy. I'm just finishing my break in process and my 2010 GMC SIERRA is running better than before. Thanks POWERTRAIN.
