I bought a Touareg 2010 OEM radio through Ebay and took it to a local radio place to remove the old one and install the new, and they tried 2 codes and blocked it to SAFE (they installed it good). I called the VW dealership with the serial number so I could get the code, but they wanted to get me there and pay 300 dollars. So VW CODES help me with getting the code and also with their posts/articles about how to deal with the 2SAFE code, which is the original procedure in the manual that I do not have. Really grateful.
