Excellent item, put on all your Teslas This is a must have product for your new Model 3/Y. This kit is aimed to decrease the ambient road sounds during freeway speeds. This provides an extra layer to the factory seals in place. The biggest tip for installation is TAKE YOUR TIME and prepare the surface well. The kit comes with primer wipes to help promote adhesion of the strips. I would suggest wiping the inner door frame with alcohol or soapy water and allowing to dry completely before attaching the seals. The seals may seem to be too long, but they do not require cutting. Do not stretch the seal as you are applying to the door edge. Start as close to the edge as possible. I made tiny cutouts in the bottom of the seal as a precaution to help with drainage of water through the door frame, I am not sure if this is recommended by the manufacture but provided me with additional peace of mind (although it does not rain heavily in my state). As an added benefit the door seems to close with a more solid sound. I have added these seals to my model 3 and Y. The company provides decent customer support in case of any issues. The kit also comes with frunk and trunk seals.
