Great products, however issue with backlog I love Eastwood products, they are excellent, and the discussions they provide on their site help immensely. However, I decided to read a couple of the negative reviews. I have not ordered backlogged items, so I cannot write to that, but was quite surprised Eastwood charged for the product up front. I buy much online and have not come across that practice before. I also so a review from a guy who was charged up front, then his order was held up because they forgot to charge tax. That was Eastwood's fault and they should have eaten the tax. I will be sure to not purchase any backlogged item.

MP 140 welder shipped to Canada Harbor freight doesn't ship to Canada. These guys do . I undertook some auto body work for the first time on an old Jeep and my old Miller 250x was really struggling with the 025 wire . When turned down so low and on sheet metal spot welding it was a pain in the A$$ . It was causing the wire to burn back and weld itself to the tip. I used the chat feature to ask a few questions about the different little mig machines to Eastwood and although not immediate they always got back to me . I went for this machine because it had an adjustable spot welding timer. The spot welding timer is amazing. It is adjustable to the 10th of a second. I was practicing on 0.5 mm tin .01s a tenth of a second and not burning through it doing spot welds . And from there you can adjust it all the way up to stitch welds however long you want. It's the coolest thing ever. I don't know what this I GBT inverter technology is but it's amazing. I've almost tried to f*** up the settings doing spot welds on different thicknesses of tin and I still haven't managed to stick a tip yet . I burnt a few rods and it seems to be a decent little stick welder for 110 volt. I managed to light up a 6011 1/8 rod and when turned right up it will burn through 1/8 steel with a 3/32 Rod. I haven't tried the tig feature however, I have TIG welded a fair amount and I think 70 amps scratch TIG welding this machine will be pretty limited. People that give this machine a bad review because they can't AC TIG weld aluminum with it or it only goes to 70 Amps in Tig and stick didn't do enough homework before they purchased this machine . If unsure, reach out to Eastwood they seem more than happy to help. Time will tell if this machine lasts but their warranty is good and they have a whole section of spare parts for their machines .

Absolutely terrible packaging Absolutely terrible packaging. Liquid containers of 32oz Pre paint prep were loosely thrown into a box. All three were dented and one leaked out about a third of its contents. No excuse for not being packed correctly. Charged me $20.00 to ship from Pennsylvania to Maryland. Not pleased at all. 😡

Cancelled My Order Ordered a Yost Model 436608 97" x 4" Cutting Guide (SKU: 56598). Item was on backorder and they said I would get a notification when it shipped (not IF it shipped). A few days later I was notified that the item was cancelled and was refunded. Based on other reviews here I see I'm not the only one this has happened to, either. I gave them two stars only because I do understand "things happen". Also, like other have reported here: I am getting almost daily emails asking to review them. So...here they go!

Horrible experience Horrible experience. There video said to paint color at 15 PSI. Got horrible orange peel. After research found out the paint should be painted at 25-30 PSI. Reported issue. After weeks they finally admitted 15 PSI was wrong but no reimbursement. Had to sand everything down again taking ours and buy a second gallon of color. Ran into another nightmare on clear. Activator says 70-80 degrees. However, black paint in the sun gets way hotter than outside air temp. Horrible orange peel again. For a DIY shop they are not providing anything close to needed instructions and some instructions are flat out wrong. Avoid!
