Second time using CarRental8. Fingers crossed. So far the process of renting a car from CarRental8 was easy enough. Now, it will depend on how the actual process of getting the car. This review could change.

We booked on the site for $170 for our… We booked on the site for $170 for our trip. We would be returning the rental to a different location than where we picked it up. With that Hertz stated we owed $350 Intercity Fee because we were dropping the car at a “smaller” airport. This was not stated anywhere in our booking with Car8 - and with that we had to cancel our reservation with Hertz that day and at this day lost the $170 with the original booking to connect with another car rental service that wasn’t going to charge us $350. This was such an inconvenience and only being in town for less than 24 hours to see family it took us an extra 2 hours at the airport to get out the door again. Learned now to go directly through the car rental services themselves to not have any HIDDEN fees.

Cheaper than others but would be… Cheaper than others but would be helpful to know you will be taking payment in USD, as i have been charged additional fees to convert from GBP to USD
