A good experience A very friendly Personal and a fair price the car had 91000 miles and we made more than 2000 miles without a single problem in a great comfort. I recommend to get the car in downtown eben two taxi rides are cheaper than the daily taxes due for a picking up at the airport.

Best Car Rental Company in Anchorage I have rented cars for over 42 years for both work and pleasure. The owners of Alaskan Car Rental provided us with a fantastic and truly clean and well-maintained vehicle. They provided outstanding service both at arrival and when we dropped off our car. They beat big rental company's prices and customer service. This was the most pleasant experience renting a car that my wife and I have ever had. We highly recommend them above any other car rental company and will use them anytime we visit Anchorage.

Friendly, but…..watch out The Guys at ACR are very friendly. That is absolutely true. They even picked us up at our hotel. But there were some points we did not like: - the car was late (we first got another car to do some groceries) - the front window was broken (a crack of appr. 60/70 cm) - the tires were too flat and the warning sign kept giong on - but most importantly: the risk of driving on unpaved roads. We booked a car that could handle these roads and we took the necessary insurance. However they told us via e-mail (when we were already hundreds of km away) that unpaved roads are our own risk. Therefor I would advice everybody to tripple-check on the terms!!!!!!!
