CATheft We rented a car from York last summer. They incurred charges for tolls we used and billed us. No issue paying this however it was sent to a credit collection company without trying to notify us first. Regardless, we paid the fee ($95).Recently, in error, my husband paid the credit recovery agency money that was meant for CRA ($2000). When he contacted them, they advised the money was already sent to York via chqs (chq#'s and dates were given). When we spoke with York, we received nothing but a runaround, them denying this had occurred. At the end of the email today, they advised they weren't helping and to go ahead and proceed with legal action. Keeping the money is theft. We require the money to be returned asap.

ZANever to be trusted Do NOT use this company if its the last rental company in the world! Your credit card is not safe with them. This car rental does not give you an option to prepay tolls then charged me over $300 for less than $10 tolls. The most dishonest rental company ever!

GBScam, do not ever use them! Just like everyone else has said, a total bait and switch scam. The thing that really pissed me off was that American Airlines Rewards offered up this scam of a car rental company in exchange for miles. I arrive to pick up car, and it's nothing but added fees, and outrageous details about insurance. You had to show them your declaration page of your insurance, or buy out of that on a per day basis. I walked out without talking car, and now am formally complaining to AA.

CADO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM RENTAL… DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM RENTAL COMPANY. I prepaid a rental for my stay in Mexico at the Cancun airport. The instructions were clear as to where I would be met by the shuttle. I waited there for 2 hours having called every number they listed. One of the numbers had been disconnected. The other number went to a voice mail that was never answered as I did not hear back for them at any time during my 2 month stay. When it became apparent that no one was coming, and that this company may not even exist, I walked back into the airport and rented a car from Avis. Having returned to Toronto I tried to contact them at the number they've provided and it went to a voice mail that was full. Don't waste your time or money with this company. As we speak I am on the phone with the bank who issued my US credit card that I put the pre-payment on. Hopefully they can reverse this charge, and if not I will sue them in small claims court
