The most important service I can provide is educating the owner on how they can use dog psychology to have a better relationship with their dog. You as the owner must be involved in your dog’s training in order to be successful long term. What would be the point of your dog behaving perfectly with me and not with you? Here are some common problems I’m often called to help with… Pulling on walks Leash reactivity Bolting Out The Door Recall Excitability What I do is in home coaching. I believe that leadership begins inside the home, in the dog’s environment. If you can lead your dog inside the home without distractions, then you can transfer that leadership outside, where you will be competing with Mother Nature. The most rewarding part of my job as a dog training coach is seeing the growth in the human. With the right communication, and patience from the human, it’s fairly easy to change a dog’s behavior. However I believe in order for us to change our dog’s behavior, we must first be willing to make changes within ourselves. This is why I refer to myself as more of a “coach” than a traditional “dog trainer”.

Informative and patient! JP was very professional and spent a lot of time with us for our first consultation. I learned a lot and have already successfully implemented some of the techniques he showed us. I like his method and his philosophy on dog training. JP is very professional and responsible… JP is very professional and responsible trainer. He solved every issue with my one year old collie. The way he train and teach my dog is so effective that it feels like magic. He also tell everything to us the owner. He is not only teaching our dog, but he is also teaching us how to be a better owner. I bought four classes. Before each class, JP will plan out the lesson depending on our need. During the lesson, the time will be spent very effectively. With the lesson and daily practicing, my collie now knows how to walk beside me without pulling, how to get on the car, how to go out and inside the house, and overcame the fear of swimming! I’m so glad I chose JP. It was a very meaningful experience.

My experiences have exceed my expectations My experiences have exceed my expectations. A month later my dog has become a much happier, relaxed dog. She isn’t reactive towards other dogs, nor does she pull to see her friends. She’s attentive to me and easy to handle in a leash. Win, win. You won’t be disappointed with JP.

JP was wonderful with our two dogs JP was wonderful with our two dogs. He listened patiently to all of the "issues" we wanted to address. He then gave excellent concise advice that I could put into practice and see positive results. We have our work cut out for us and I know I will need more guidance from him but I feel it is worth it to have calm content dogs.
