Five star experience - massive speed gains I run Shopify store for nine years so I was in contact with many Shopify Experts and 'Shopify Experts'. This is by far best experience so far. We got ourselves the Entrepreneur+ package. SpeedBoostr team explained all the details about the upcoming work and they were very transparent about what we can expect (and what we shouldn't expect). Work took 7-10 days. The results are impressive, our speed gains are massive. And our web site was relatively well optimized before (minified images etc.). Bait and Switch. 😰 First, the good part. They optimized my site (Shopify store) and nailed it. Speed was WAY up. Awesome. Then the bad part. They told me that I wouldn't be able to update my theme any more. They would do it. OK, weird but . . . So once an update was released, I asked them to do it and they informed me that I'd need to get on a $900 a month retainer... To update my theme! The instructions for how to update should have been included. "Here you go: make sure you move these scripts and add this snippet and paste this in theme.liquid." Nope. $900 monthly retainer! If you never update your theme, great. Go for it. If you update your theme (we get regular updates), stay away. Bait and Switch.
