There seems to be a lot of functions in… There seems to be a lot of functions in SmartVault that I cannot use due to lack of training. The training articles are confusing and I don't seem to have an account manager to help me. I love the security piece and would likely use the software more. Each month I am weighting the cost, my inability to utilize all of the software's tools and I spend time looking for an alternative

Good Product Good Product I generally like the product. I love being able to send for signatures directly from SmartVault and have it returned when completed automatically from DocuSign. The reason I have to down-rate the program is that there is no desk top application for MAC users. This means I am not easily able to move documents within folders.

Overall I love SmartVault Overall I love SmartVault, but my scanner won't save directly to it (probably scanner issue) and I can't (easily) make changes to names of folders that I want to add/alter. (operator error?). I have found that recent updates have been GREAT! and the more experience I get the better the software becomes. Love the "print" feature from Pro-Series tax software direct to SmartVault, so easy. I do find that my clients with little computer experience have difficulty accessing the software, others no issues at all. Good customer service! Very helpful representatives. Attended a couple of recent online trainings, too fast (presenter barely took a breath), too high level, zero questions at the end, those were disappointing, but I do know that I can follow up with representative when I get time.

Customer support: 3 of 5 most days Attitude: 0 of 5 Renewal policy: -5 of 5 They use an unintuitive interface and claim that the security protocols are more important than the user experience. They automatically renew the annual license and offer a ZERO refund policy. To cancel or downgrade, there is a small very small window 30 days before renewal to change the account. Total bunch of jerks.

Worst User Interface Ever I have been in IT over 40 years and the Smart Vault user interface is one of the worst I have ever used. I now own a tax preparation business so we test tried it out on 10 of our clients, not one could successfully upload their documents on the first try. That was enough for us so we cancelled our subscription.
